Decided to go for this instead. Still kinda figuring out the optimal hero builds, tried a lot of different secondary profession & skills but not sure yet. Player build def very good and fun to play. I usually just jump in and go 1-2-3-4 and things die^^ IAU is good if you know there is KD or cripple, skill 6 is also very good as it blinds around you, so you are able to tank even better
With cons/pcons skill 1 steals 34hp from all nearby foes and target, skill 2 hits for 86 on nearby foes, Skill 3 steals 80hp from 5 foes nearby, LoD hits for 80 nearby.
Here you see an example of Tahnnakai Temple NM (finished in 8mins with cons, still seemed very fast imo)
Rly fun combo. How about icy veins for elite ? Maybe some more aoe
Thought I could share the team setup I am currently using to get GWAMM on my monk. It works so well, I just face tank all dmg with prots on myself, if they're not on me, they are eating away at the minions and they're dead in no time. It's truly beautiful to see how they just melt;D
Also fun thing: with cons+Serpent's Quickness, Psychic Instability can be used for perma KD. It will recharge fast enough before they are able to get up. Combine this with a Keystone Mesmer who can spam both Wastrels and abuse Signet of Toxic Shock in combination with the Minion Bomber. All in all just a fun team build to run. Most of the time I am just pinging their targets and just waiting for them to die. I dont even have to do that much half of the time The Me/Mo Keystone also has very fast Heal Party + Healing Seed (which is very nice if you're just facetanking a lot of hits combined with Shield of Absorption) to provide some extra support while still dealing dmg/rupting. Serpent's Quickness on the Esurge heroes allows them to have quite fast hex+ench removal and very strong damage with an even faster Esurge, Mistrust and Cry of Frustration.
Note: I am using consets to just make VQs more bearable so I am unsure how this will function without it.
If people are interested, I will post gear and templates. And if there's even more interest in the builds that I have used across my account so far (7 GWAMMs, Monk @ 29/30 (22/34 NF VQ), Necro and Rit still need to start) then I will try and post those too:)
Correct. You didn't need to but you did. Correct again you triggered the scenario in which you knew violence would occur. Correct a 3rd time you did it for convenience. Like somebody killing a dog they didn't want to look after, that was also convenient for them.
I guess I can come to your house and take your stuff and there is no problem.
So there is no such this a property rights but Ascalon is somebody's property? . Pick 1 dude and stop the double think.
You initiated the conflict when you trespassed. Burglar enters your home uninvited and with unknown intentions. (Doing nothing more than walking from one point to anther you might say) You use force to make him leave (aka morally righteous self defence). He is at fault not you.
Nothing whatsoever provided you do so peacefully. Hiring a hitman to help you kill someone is clearly not peaceful or aligned with the non aggression principle that "pacifism" is built on
So as Anet refuses to add new content we must make our own. Decided to embark on a nostalgia type challenge with my friend Suz to get some OG vibes (Warriors obviously picked). Didn't really intend to make a post about it but its continued for a while now and thought it worth sharing, maybe others will join or try something similar. CRIM stands for Core-Rainbow-Iron-man which roughly describes what we set out to do. An Ironman duo with the standard no trading, no storage ect but with the added restrictions of core skills only and play rainbow style hero's. We have been making rules up as they came up and just went with what seemed appropriate to try and balance "playing like Guild Wars is just Prophecies but in the other campaigns". General starting goal was to see how hard it would be and see what end game content we could do.
General Ironman Rules we following: No storage / material Storage No Player to player trading (Apart from each other) No /bonus No mercenary heroes Can use all traders including from Guild hall Can do content in any order / start in any campaign All drops / rewards game wide allowed (Briefly considered gear only from proph but that seemed to be way to grindy to be fun)
Core Restrictions: Core/Prophecies skills only on players and Hero (No Anniversary / PvE) No consumables or summons
Rainbow Restrictions: Maximum 2 of each profession allowed in party. Hero Elite must be of their Primary Profession (We ignored this for missions where a derv or para is required) Builds must be majority comprised of skills of its primary profession. (2-3 skills from secondary profession is about the max we said was cool) No duplication of elites within party Generally play hack and slash with front, mid and backline setup where possible
Story so far: Made matching warriors in Factions, level 20, max armor, did a few missions (currently at Dragons Throat) Made a start in EOTN and got a few hero (Suz did ALOT of farming here early on to get team gear) Finished FoW in NM which was our first plan of things to do once we had a team Dozens of failed attempts at FoW HM, can very carefully get to battlefield but the skele groups were to much at the time Completed NF, few wipes in missions but overall wasn't to bad and now have some improved gear
Builds: This is the current general team composition although does get moved around a fair bit and has changed a fair bit from the early days. Minions get dropped for a UA healer in places. In low level areas BiP is replaced with FoC or with zhed nuker ect Think we been pretty thorough with making sure its only core skills, if anybody can find a mistake please say.
Future plans: Finish campaigns Improve gear (mostly weapons) Get a hammer build option going for warriors Try some dungeons Have another go at FoW HM Find some solo / duo farms to do Maybe look at maxing some titles Generally play the game, complain how bad warrior is / how only core skills limits capabilities
I had a long weekend free, so I decided to marathon GW for the first time in a year or so. New ironman character.
Day 2 drops have been insane. Unbelievably, I got a 20% Forget Me Not today too. RNG gods going wild out here for me. I should take a year-long break more often.
Give or take one year from now, Guild Wars will celebrate it's 20th anniversary! To celebrate this, I decided to start a new character on a fresh account and give myself one year to become a God walking among mere Mortals. I will try to accomplish this without dying - this is the ultimate challenge for me.
Other rules I play by are: - No vendors (except merchant and rare material crafter for materials that aren't obtainable otherwise) - I can use the storage, since I play on a fresh account - To optimalize the play experience, I have to complete every sidequest in an area in order to move on with the story - No /bonus items - No trading - No consumables or tomes unless I craft / find them myself - I try to follow the lore as much as possible, so no skipping scenes - Order of playing will be: Nightfall -> Prophecies -> Factions -> EOTN -> Beyond
Hey, my Iron man Char "Iron X Spear" is looking for a iron man guild too. I started as paragon on a completely new account, and gonna play through NF, Fac, Proph and EotN.
