You can see what each profession's primary attribute corresponds to (including divine favor) by placing your cursor over it in the skills window [K].
- All party members are allies including you.
- Signets are not spell.
You can see the total when you cast a spell, you have 2 numbers, the one on the left = the spell, the one on the right = the DF bonus. (numbers can be reversed depending on..)
it also affects when casting on yourself. but only on targeted spells. something like heal party will not heal anyone due to divine favor.
In the case of a spell that doesn't target an individual, but the group, the caster still receives the DF bonus.
It's like playing the lottery, it's usually a waste of money and time, and even if you see some people win the jackpot, they haven't had a miracle formula to make it 100%.
On the other hand, psycologically, waiting to drop a q8 with a good base (or any other very rare drop) is tiring if you expect it to happen. It's better not to think about it, and in the best-case scenario to be surprised in a good way (and given the number of items to drop in the game, this can happen for an item you didn't even think could fall).
All these pseudo-calculations out of the ass are useless in practice.
Burn Hollywood burn!
GW won't be treating me today because my graphics card has burned out (I confess I put back a GTX 760 for a while after selling my RTX 3070 ) and 2 slot of ram too.. It's time for a new PC (home-made of course). ++ see you for the 20th.
(In truth I first had them from the violent shutdowns. Tested the ram strips, 2 defective out of 4. Then again... I notice that the power supply, its fan no longer runs (probably due to the recent move..?) I repair. Then the GTX 760, which had already been through a lot, gave up in every sense of the word.
But I have no regrets, I've used it up and I'm looking forward to building a new PC
Hi, maybe more infos here -> +10 armor vs xxx - Listing or rules
didn't know they can drop as blue q8 lmao
magmas drop in q8 and q7 and inscriptable too.
A note about inscriptable weapons that may fall into a campaign not associated with the weapon (shadow shield, magma shield, eternal shield, ghostly staff, etc.).
There is a way to search for these existing items.
This is due to the fact that a monster or race of monster, linked to a weapon skin X or Y, is imported into a campaign from which it does not originate. Most of the game's monsters have been updated in this case. But some, it hasn't been updated. The build of the monster or the monster race on the wiki can give you the answer. Here are a few examples:
Weapons skin | Associated monsters | Build(s) on wiki | Result |
---|---|---|---|
Magma shield | Titans (from prophecies) | No change between campaigns | drop inscriptable linked to the monster: possible |
Shadow shield | Obsidian Furnace Drake (during Drakes on the Plain) | No change between campaigns | drop inscriptable linked to the monster: possible |
Eternal shield | Terrorweb Dryder | No change between campaigns | drop inscriptable linked to the monster: possible |
This gives an indication. In the case of a build change, the monster will not drop this kind of weapon “exported from its original campaign”. If the build doesn't change, it seems to work most of the time. Although I haven't seen a Shiro'ken drop a Forbidden Staff inscriptable to NF... And looking at the wiki notes (are they correct?) the chests linked to these exported monsters might behave differently.
You could therefore analyze all the monsters in all the game's zones, quests and missions, to see whether or not any of them have updates between campaigns. Even if it's not 100% correct.
Could be nothing, been inactive a while. But, did I just score?
(There is a thread dedicated to the PC -> Price check )

The Motivation requirement will considerably render it worthless. You're in luck if you get an offer for 10-20e.
Not max damage for q0 (7-11) 24 gold max.
A detail in the quest: The Strength of Snow (if like me you don't kill anyone and simply run to the end of the dungeon and wait in afk mode where the big door is and let the snowmen do the job for you).
The Grentch closest to the end zone will be killed each time by the first wave (3 Grentch) coming from the west.
He's both friend and foe (?) their kill drop me a candy cane shard.
After 20 years, I have not known this, but also not finding this check box?
Don't tell me it's that? After all this time..
Yes, I have spoken with a variety of players over the years who also farm this location but didn't know that whether you are doing it in HM for more golds or NM for potential Q8 drops (my preference), upon killing all of the Assassins and cleaning out their pockets, even if you are not going to take out Senkai, you run to the bottom of the stairs then run back, a good percentage of the time a chest will pop-up back where the first group of Assassins were. You can also dodge the 2nd wave by running off to the side to let them pass then opening the chest.
Sounds like you were aware of this, maybe someone else reading this will have a lightbulb moment for the next time they approach this farm.
You can go straight to the bottom of the staircase where the Senkai boss is located (limit of: within earshot, without him reperting you), 2 waves of enemies pop from the village towards the boss, then head back to the center of the village to see if there's a pop chest. No need to kill anyone.
Afterwards, I wasn't exact in my previous message, War Captain Womack only appears once the boss is dead, as a 3rd wave (I kill Senkai in M/N 105hp, I don't play the M/W 55hp build).
The pop of the chest depends on any other potential chest appearances in the village area, (there is a minimum distance between each chest in an instantiated zone) but doesn't change anything, they're all related to Luxon heu.. 1.000 Daggers traitors.
EDIT: a short tutorial for killing Senkai in M/N here: The Halcyon Job - Kill: Senkai, Lord of the 1,000 Daggers Guild
The question is, do you check for the hidden pop-up chest after clearing the Luxon Assassins? Not everyone is aware of this little trick.
You mean the potential chest that can appear with the wave accompanied by War Captain Womack? (which is not considered a boss for drops)
Luxon Clan drops Luxon Wardrobe
The 1,000 Daggers is a Canthan NPC guild with its guild hall on the edge of the Jade Sea, in the northeastern corner of the Boreas Seabed. They have not meddled in Luxon affairs for two hundred years.
During the Halcyon Job, it is shown that this guild is hired by the Kurzicks, and the player must assassinate their leader, Lord Senkai. Afterwards, Captain Rion of the Halcyon, took over Senkai's place as leader.
