• Hello everyone,

The price of Ambraces has been dropping for quite some time now, and it’s certainly no longer the safest long-term investment when it comes to both space efficiency and value retention.

What are your approaches to investing in long-term secure assets? Do you have any tips?

    Thanks

  • prenerf items and high end minis tend to be your best option. those can not be generated anymore so the inflation due to heavy introduction of the currency to the market cannot happen. if you really only want to use it as a currency the limited mini option is certainly the best. prenerf weps you usually have to sell in order to liquidate cash for trades first.

I WTB all kinds of Tower Shields and Defenders. I do drop research - if you find anything remarkable or want to see the results - check the thread or send a pm!

  • i thought about zkeys or gzcoins, but as you said. Inflation can manipulate the prices of those items. what about GOTT? Do we have like some kind of a statistic how the prices changed in the last decade?

  • I recall that GotT went from 4e~5e to 10e a few years ago, and then dropped to 7e~6e as of now.

Sadly, everything that can be generated and that a lot of players want is probably botted right now. The prices only reflect how badly people want them and how many bots are botting them.

I agree with Red. Limited minis and pre-nerfs are the way to go. But people owning these (especially the good ones) have little reason to sell them. Whenever something comes to an auction, prices skyrocket out of a normal player's range of paying ability. If you don't own something to begin with, the only way to win these auctions is real-money trading or botting, which in my opinion is pointless, and also against the game rules.

    :S

All things considered, I would suggest simply spending currencies on things you like. Get that cool weapon skin. Get that armor. Get the most enjoyment out of the game. What you enjoy has the most value in this game.

  • What they said, + lockpicks, they cannot drop below what merchant pays :p

But in general speaking, over the last two decades gw economy gone its ups and downs, ive never cared how many ectos one arm is or how many platinums ecto is and it been allright.

Armbraces gone up and down from 30e to 120e, ectos gone from 3 k to 25 k and in general if something is worth 1e its worth 1e no matter of that. I wouldnt stress it too much. In the end its supply and demand tho when it comes to valuing anything except the currencies (they have very little to do with supply and demand tbh over the years)
