1 to 5a is a wide range in relative matters. 1a max would agree with. Apart from that please only judge other people's price checking knowledge when you are in the position to do so. And I can tell you are definetly not.

You rocking doasc on a warrior huh buddy? How many A/any or R/A can spec into strength? Oh that's right! 0. The attribute on the shield doesn't matter if you're using it for the inherent mods.

1-5a being a wide range is absolutely laughable. That might be a wide range if say, you only possess 2 armbraces? 1-5a is roughly 40-200+e. I'm not interested in having an argument though, I'm here to provide ACCURATE information to someone asking for a price check.
I've been doing this for 20 years and it's pretty clear to me that you might be the one in need of some additional knowledge.

Do you actually play GW? Only an A/W could spec tactics, again how many A/W do you see in DoA SC? 99% of the shields used in high end content are NOT specced into. You strike me as both an amateur trader, and an amateur player.

It is relatively seen a wide range yes. As 5 is factor 5 of 1. But apparently even that is too high maths for you.

Thanks for making my point for me. It does not matter what the Shield's attribute is if NO ONE is going to spec into it anyway, genius. OffDutyNinja as A/W tank you would want a q9 tact shield. Mes will take the anniversary shield. For ele and monk rather an shield with +hp.
Since doasc is quite dead and will stay like this those shields have mainly collector value. q10 str is not very interesting for collectors either.
1-5 a is a very realistic range
