WTS - Q7 15% -1e Broadsword

    Hi all,

    I'm putting this sword up for auction. It's been in my inventory for 20 years. A lot of you responded to my price check requests with valuable input, thank you.

    I feel it should go to a collector that will fully appreciate and enjoy it. And with its sale I will fund all my adventures and experimentation with Heroes and gear during my return to the game in this new Reforged era.





    There are a few things I want from this sale. These will be the static part of any offer. I will set the armbrace floor to 5000 and leave the final amount up to you all.

    I am happy to accommodate the sale directly, you can record it, witness it, etc. I am an original GW player from 2005. Been away since 2009. I have a fairly large account with a lot of effort put into it. I am very sentimental about it and will not jeopardize it for any item.

    If you prefer to use a mediator I am happy to do that as well. I will leave it up to you to suggest who that person may be and I will get community advise.


    I will leave this auction up for a couple of weeks. I reserve the right to not go through with the sale, in the unlikely event I have a change of heart.

    Sadly, I do not have arms like many others here. But as the owner of the only other known active q7 Broadsword, I would be remiss if I did not try to make an offer.

    I would start by offering you my prenerf collection of 5x q8 Gothic Dual Axes (+5 energy, 15wS, 15wE, 15vH, 15/-10ar). I estimate the value of this set to be at least 8,000 arms, though I've been offered more for the +5 alone. This set would help you on your warrior's journey. It just feels so much better to smack mobs with valueable weapons. 8)

    Next, you need a shield to go with your new axe collection. Perhaps you like Echovald Shields as I do? I have "several" you can choose from! ^^

    And, lastly, all I can really muster up is about 500 armbraces, along with your other requirements. However. . .

    Having done multiple accounts from scratch to GWAMM, you'll probably have the vast majority of those armbraces left over by the time you're done anyways. I really don't see you spending more than a few armbraces gearing up unless you're buying them valueable OS items for them to use. Hell, I'll help gear you up, set up builds, and provide knowledge and resources as best I can.

    I would also use Motoko or Gregory as a mod.

    My offer can also be in q8 items + arms if that's the direction you take. I have many axes for you to choose from along with rare +5s. While Purely is a respected collector of broadswords, he has already had his enjoyment with a q7 broadsword that will be his forever through customization.

    Thank you all for your interest. I'm going to stick with the original parameters of the auction. I appreciate you all have extraordinary items, but I don't really need any of them.

    The ones I will want once I start rebuilding my characters to the new meta I will buy from your sales.

    Minis and that kind of stuff are of no interest to me. I'm very practical with my game play.

    On a separate, yet relevant note, I want to keep everything transparent in this auction. I am not going to make a deal in DMs. Everyone was very vocal to do the sale above table, in public, in this auction. I intend to honour that.

    I don't understand how this thread is getting derailed so much, OP clearly stated his offering conditions in the post. Outside of that, if they decide to take items I'm sure you can add that into your offer but some of you are clearly trolling and bumping this for no reason at all. How about we just act like decent people instead of rage baiting each other for no reason other than for the deep seated disgruntlement some of you have for each other and have some respect for the person just trying to sell their item?

    I received multiple messages regarding the auction duration. Following the community's advice I'm going to set a specific end date according to the original post - 1 week from posting date.

    In the spirit of fairness, and to prevent sniping, any last minute offers extend the end date by 24 hours.

    Personally I'm more than happy with the current bids. If, however, someone intends to bid but needs more time to gather arms please let me know here and I'll extend the auction to accommodate you.
