Question I’ve always wondered

Hi,

Since a child I’ve always thought:

What if I craft obby armour, put it in Storage, delete my character and then recreate my character with the same name and profession.. will I be able to use it as a level 1?

Has anyone tried this?

Older me would assume the armour is actually customised to a character ID under the hood, not a character name..

Yes this is exactly how it works, the same with customised weapons.

What if this was done on an alternate account? Never tested but there is an item or two I would have always liked to transfer.

It is the same thing regardless of account. A ‘character’ for this purpose isn’t defined by the name but by an unique ID generated. This ties into any customised items.
