I've been searching for an answer to this question, but haven't found much. I was wondering what the "rarest" weapon skins were before Factions was released in 2006?

Were eternal sword/shield out then, or did those come later?

Eternal shields were around, Eternal blade was added much later
And yes there were rare names back in day such as swamp club, krytan axe, dwarven hammer etc, but their skins arent really rare as theyre shared with others;)

Swamp club isnt exactly a shared skin. It has that green stuff right?

Swamp club is exactly the same appearance as ramham, giant slayer and a warhammer. But it's special and belongs on the list of any rare skin. Normally, people don't distinguish between "name" and "skin" when having this sort of discussion. Swamp is as rare as it gets.

Can’t believe none of you old guys have said Dead Bow and Sephis Axe. Those things used to be really rare and sought after before hard mode gave easy access to brainlessly farm level 20+ undead.
