I wasn't aware or have ever seen a purple goth shield. You can actually farm goth at dragon moss just not the normal farm. You use R/A whirling build and use the dragon moss as your artillery cannon to kill the wardens on the hill instead of them.

Been like that for a very long time. Avicare sometimes rush into the zone from the portal fighting the stone summit. I think they were added at one point to help deter 55 monks from getting to the mineral springs for avicare farming at the start area. If you see the chest I never bother to open it just because you can technically glitch it to get the drop doesn't mean you will succeed.

There isn't a client side anticheat so the only way to get in trouble would be partaking in banned actions being automation and exploits. So if you don't do either of those things there is no issue running windows or linux. Do keep in mind as stated that there is zero support or grace for using things like texmod, toolbox, etc. Anet will never give the ok to anything like that but they aren't directly hunting them either unless a specific feature is being abused.

Something to consider is that some of the highest income from the game comes from the illegal activities. ANET bans accounts very slowly, however realistically the majority of new account purchases are these very people. The very reason I picked gw over WoW a long time ago after leaving Diablo 2 was the lack of subscription fee. I would give up on the game if it gained one unless it went back into full production mode aka new content in large amounts.

I think most gamers had that feeling because they were never around high resolution or quality 4:3 displays. I still run most things in a more square aspect ratio on larger screens but I am use to terminal use where that makes more sense.

Yea most those bid wars involved the main goth collector who is on break so wouldn't be surprised to see it stagnate and go for that much.

So something I pondered for a long time was if it was possible to get q8/16 gold or purple eternal shields inscribable like the blues some of us have. It is 100% confirmed the q8/16 blue eternals in strength drop from terrorwebs in gate of pain among other nightfall areas. I remembered at one point an oddity was up for sale. A q8 11-21 purple post nerf ghostly staff so I set off to find out how on earth this dropped as all the known spots were incorrect for that item. Then it dawned on me and some research.

The quest https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/A_Good_Deed. has smite crawlers in eotn at lvl 20. So I postulate the staff came from them which also means q8/16 gold eternal shields are possible along with other oddities such as q8 post nerf stormbows inscribable. I would be interested to hear if anyone has more info or has farmed this quest more to confirm my theory on the possibility that q8/16 gold inscribable eternals can drop.

Every single gold max q8 sword I have dropped has been while hexed mod 19 or 20 lol. So I am going to just say that is the sword equivalent.

I think the glory days of something like this going for unreal amounts is over. No way to give an accurate estimate but the closest thing for sale recently is the q8 13% stance tyrian serpent that is in the same ballpark. It has barely reached 130a. Q7 15>50 swords of betters skins have gone in the 500-700a range so I would wager right around 1000a might actually be its peak of what someone might actually pay and have the funds.

I have seen some area with 0 chest :

- Reed Bog NM (this was a long time ago so take this one with a grain of salt).

- Tasca Desmise HM. I'm almost certain about this one. I triple checked the whole map. I even popped a conset to run more easily on the map. (If this matter I had the titan quest active).

I have had 0 chest runs in tascas, although i didn't always check if the one out of bounds spawned. Sometimes way into the mineral springs portal a chest spawns you can't get.

For those of you who aren't familiar, great items come in bulk. You buy them at Costco and much like toilet paper you always end up with way more than you need. I firmly believe in quantity over quality.

So with much debate I have decided to post this little bow set for the greater good of the community. When you collect something you want more of the same kind. It is with heart felt reasoning I must finally bring forth this set so that others may stare at my wood in a strong context.

Near impossible to gauge value overall, but its not a very rare shield skin. Yes the mod combo is rare, however there are way way more rare shields like a perfect dual mod guardian of the hunt absolutely stomps a magma. I average 1-3 gold magma per full inventory at hell's. Running purely warden chest i can go 10-15 inventories full with a single guardian of the hunt.

Q10 does a lot of damage. I personally wouldn't sell under 20a just because I know the damn rarity of it but realistic bidding is really hard to gauge. It could peak at 5a or hit 35a is the spectrum imo.

20-25a is around what I would expect to sell at or buy at without too much struggle from either side of the deal.

Not sure where you are farming them but right around gw release in 2005 a popular farm spot of hill gaints for runes was the very end of riverside province mission. You can run straight there and a fairly large amount of them.

Some of the items are quite rare and don't sell often enough to give any rough idea. I would recommend putting them up for sale on legacy and not sell to private messages so you don't sell yourself short.

It took some time but they are back in full swing. I was taking a character through factions and there is an absolute army of A/W bots right now in asian/european districts of the market place. So if you get bored you can go report them.
