100a max ?
Depends on interest , nich market
Gl!
Are you sure you don’t mean 100e?
I sold one sometime last year for I think 50e. Had been on my sell thread for quite a while and had very little interest.
is the ele rune +2/-50?
correct.
And thanks to all for the replies and welcome
If that’s the case I’d recommend reviewing the info in the prenerf subforum and taking a second look at things. Good luck!
Back in February when Oldschool Cool mentioned another undocumented prophecies green, we took a second look. As it turns out, Gorrel's Staff has 3 versions (making it now, along with Kepkhet's Refuge, the only 2 prophecies greens known to have 3 versions).
Gorrel's Staff was one of the very first prenerf greens I found at the beginning of this project a little over 3 years ago. At that time, we didn't really know 3-version items were a thing. We checked the color of Gorrel's and it matched the post-nerf, so we assumed only the mod order changed. Turns out that first one was actually the rarer of the 2 prenerfs (the mixed version, with prenerf stats and postnerf color) but the original prenerf was also found since then. We checked the ones I had back in February and confirmed the 3 versions. I'm just a little late in updating the thread...
That said, with this new addition we're at 181 confirmed prenerfs out of a suspected 194 total.
2023 saw 18 new additions total. With even close to similar luck, the project will completed in its entirety in 2024. There are just 13 left to find.
I'll be going through at some point and polishing the thread and terminology a bit. I'll also try to update all the screenshots I can so they're higher quality and more uniform so this thread can continue to be a useful, accurate resource. Eventually, I'd like to get all the information transferred over to the official Wiki as well.
Thanks to all those who've helped in 2023. Happy new year!
There is Hate Core
For reference, azazzel777 If they look like the bottom image here you can merch it.
It's from this quest. https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/A_Brother%27s_Fury
It's believed that a lot of these quest rewards do have prenerf versions, but very little is known about them. OP's example is still obtainable though.
correct me if im wrong but wasnt dz dv not droppable until factions was released?
Purple, blue and low % dv/dz exist (I have a blue), which indicates pre item-quality-update which happened in the months leading up to factions. They’ve been in since launch.
I don't know if it's the one you're thinking of but I sold one of these to a friend years ago. It was instantly customized. I'm sure there are others floating around.
A museum-quality rarity. Not unique. A 3rd tier item, but a beauty for sure.
How do you manage to always sound like you're taking a dump on every item besides the ones you currently own? What is a 3rd tier item? I have never heard this terminology before. Not unique?
Seems like a fair response imo. OP asked “quite how rare it is?” Is it rare? Yeah, absolutely. Is it the rarest? Definitely not. But that doesn’t necessarily detract from the “wow” factor of the item itself.
From a purely objective point of view, think about how long of a drop window such an item had (from game launch to NF release) and how many people were playing at the time. There are several other things that had much rarer skins, much shorter drop windows, or both.
If paper fan can’t roll fast cast req and fire magic mod today
Yep, exactly. You’ll never see mixed-profession attributes on any of those skins. A 20/20 dom paper fan is just as likely as a 20/20 dom inscribed chakram (assuming the chakram is from factions, where the generic pool of mods is the same)
it would be worth more if it was a paper fan, for example. that's what he means
dom req and dom mods on an item that only drops with mesmer related req and mods, is not as rare, and thus valuable, as an item that can drop any possible mismatch mix of profession req and mods
That’s not the case though. I mean I get that fans, jugs, effigies, etc are rarer. But it’s only the skin itself that’s more rare. You’re just as likely to roll the above mods on an inscribed chakram as you are on a fan, etc.
It’s a common misconception that these “multi-prof” foci can roll any mods. A fast casting jug/effigy/fan will only ever roll Mesmer mods (in addition to the generic ones). Soul reaping ones will only ever roll necro mods, and so on.
Truly multi-prof foci haven’t dropped since before Factions. Something like this:
It is not multiprof
What do you mean by this? How would that affect its value?
19-35 is max damage.
18-34 is max for all postnerf q8 hammers (which any insc. hammer will be by default)

prenerf fire staff and sotw will be sold tomorrow if no further offers
added q5 dual mod baby straw effigy
These can be picked up. Pm me in-game if you see me on.
q9 Notched Blade - 5a Blind Was My Fury
q9 15^50 Naga Shortbow - 9a HerOach
q9 Vabbian Recurve - 50e Naga
q9 Desolation Maul - 3a Blind Was My Fury
q7 11^50 Naga Longbow - 2a50e Blind Was My Fury
Added q10 20/20 Curses and q12 20/19 Dom Zodiac Staves and a couple other factions elite items
The storm bow is prenerf as 11^50 doesn’t drop on purples anymore. The 2/1 vamp string on it is also prenerf. I recommend listing both for auction. The other items you listed can be merched.
You should also compare anything else you have to the info/examples in these prenerf info threads: Prenerf
Edit: Separate the string from the storm bow using a perfect salvage kit. Auction them separately.
