Aureate Aegis q9 command - b/o 2e

Got mine a few minutes ago.
Big thanks to Matthew Moore to acknowledge the existence of the weapon, to Endarkks Ziatri for being the first one to discover it, and to all the people in Discord and Reddit in this burning and passionate time trial hunt.
Congratulations to Endarkks
After reading everything including the Discord, I have only 1 concern: is not strange that no one discovered this when the gw.dat was dumped entirely finding all the discarded content like the old gods (Arachnia), etc?
I say this because, perhaps, the hidden weapon is not necessarily a "new" weapon, only a normal quest reward weapon like any other, but hidden. If the weapon has a different or exclusive name like a green from a boss, then when the gw.dat was dumped someone should have seen it.
This is the quality content that I needed again to awake the interest for this game, I quit in 2011 and returned in 2019 or so, so I've skipped almost all of this. I'm going to read it all carefully, thanks for the summary.
The weird part was I was spamming for this specific item. Convienently a few days later hes selling one obviously to try and get me to bite.
I know one in particular doing this shit almost every day of the week. Not the same user, but just as idiot.

I dont get why people are willing to buy these if they didnt have a hand in earning the accommodation, just for some trim on their cape?
To stay in Kamadan 24/7 with the character afk showing the thing like if someone cares.
Why do you like -5/20% vs -2(Stance/Enchantment)? The -2 is better assuming you can always keep your Stance/Enchantment up. Assuming you're using that modifier you'd most likely have a build that always has a Stance/Enchantment around.
I use the shield occasionally with my Ele (very occasionally in PvE), and the -2 is practically nothing for my type of caster armor, it doesn't matter what enemy hit me because they will always damage me a lot, so I prefer having +20 extra armor to reach 90 (+10 of the shield itself and +10 of the inscription) or trying my luck with the -5. Both options without using a skill that gives armor, only using weapons I mean. Also sometimes I use a sword with armor +5 or +7.

https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor_calculation
Here is all explained, but the best way to calculate it with your customized character is in a 1 vs 1 with another player and changing weapons to see the differences. In my case I prefer +10 (vs. Damage Type) or -5/20%, I don't like the -2^Stance/Ench (personal opinion).
Thanks you sir, despite the screen is very tiny
i mean, i've just asked this and it was easy to understand.
not sure why someone needs to put his science when he doesnt know what he talks about ...
So, after i read this from _Todeshand_ : Anyone has the screen of this Q9 DV Crystalline please ?

"Science" says, don't worry, next time I will ignore you, you're welcome for trying to help finding what you were talking about without explaining nothing or a simple link to the wiki to put in context searching between the updates like I did.
It seems I will have to create a new page in the Wiki for those weapons, but this still don't answer what he was saying above at the beginning regarding an Axe with Energy +5 (the Energy +5 was from the Sword as far as I know, and the only current Axe with that mod is the one from Amnoon Oasis).
In the thread hey also mentioned a Longbow Q8 13-25 (Armor +10 inherent), and Pleikki said that Herbalizer does have the HoD Hammer (I don't know who is this player though).
Anyway, if someone can confirm the order of the mods for the HoD Bow and what mods the HoD Hammer has, I can create a page in the Wiki for each one within a Disambiguation category for all the removed HoD weapons.
Edit: Nevermind, found it, it's in the 25 / October / 2006 update: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Game_updates/20061025
So those weapons were changed twice, not once.
Current HoD sword / axe / bow got removed.
Seriously, what? In each new message I understand less.
- Updated the Henge of Denravi Axe to have +5 inherent Energy instead of +25 inherent Health.
So please, dont u think i would already checked myself before ???
I still don't know what you mean. You are saying in your original post that the original Axe from Denravi was +25HP before it was changed to Energy +5 (so I have to assume that you are saying that the Axe from Denravi is Energy +5 now). I'm telling you that the Axe from Denravi is +15^Enchanted now, not Energy +5.
I asked if the Axe of Energy +5 that you are saying is the one from Amnoon Oasis, not Denravi, because is the only one with Energy +5 today.
- Anyone has an old screen from the HoD Axe with the +25HP inherent base, before it was changed by ANET into +5e ?
I'm at Denravi right now and the Axe is +15^Enchanted, the Energy +5 one is from Amnoon Oasis, I don't know if there has been an error of place.

It would be fun to see an offer from someone with a +15%^Unconditional vs. that one selling the q8 Crysta for 4 years: "tOo lOw SorRrY"
Basically all what Marty said, but instead of thinking about it all the time, just craft one weapon of each type and switch them when you need it. Combinations are unlimited. Regarding using always the same builds from time ago, I do the same and there is nothing wrong with it, when you get used to a build that works well and you are comfortable using it, stick with it (I still using the Toucher for example).
Same with Wand+Focus set, in my case I have a full storage panel with this:
Wands HCT 20% / HSR 20% (x4)
Wands Energy +5 / HSR 20% (x4)
Focus HSR 20% / HCT 20% (x4)
Focus HSR 20% / +45HP wE (x4)
Focus Attribute +1 20% / +45HP wE (x4)
Focus Attribute +1 20% / HCT 20% (x4)
I also have some 10/10 and E5/10 sets, but those are taking dust because I never use them.
Same with staves, at least 5 combinations of each one for Elementalist/Mesmer attributes (I don't play Monk or Necromancer, but I guess it's the same for them). For Ritualists is a bit different due their rituals and weapons, it's the exception.

@Ostana: El Henchmantonic Ghavin
I see, I missed that thread.
This reminds me the troll who has been selling the Q8 Crystalline for +4 years and every time when someone whispers him with an offer he says "too low sorry", imagine how arrogant someone must be to waste time doing this in a game that is literally dead.
Looks like the tonic is on sale again, and of course at the corner of Kamadan very away from the Vault Box, he logged off when I approached him xd
Back to Guild Wars... and immediately spent hours farming a particular green: Saevio's Maul (what? but why? lol)
And I owe you one!
