Hi guys, new question, this isnt my shield, was asked for a price check on it. Someone told them blue and purple darkwings dont drop anymore. And i had to think about it, becuase iv not seen any pop up at all. is this correct:

Yes they dropped only in the sneak peak eotn event like pre access afaik. Price of the last one still settled around a gold version as far as I have seen. Cause gold attracts more buyers even tho blue should be more rare.

PS: the 69 gold make it maybe worth 10x it's normal value xD

He says he got it from destruction depths though, thats like end of eotn....

Edit: maybe he means the area leading to DD, which was included in pre acess... He did say he had this since launch. ok makes more sence ty ty

Some drops can be almost non-existent. But exists anyway.

I will take an example, nothing to see. I killed thousands and thousands of Dryders on NF. Except at the beginning, 2-3x, then they never dropped any Ghostly Staff. While the rest (Eternal Shield, Storm Bow, Eternal Bow, fall almost all the time.

So if I ask you for a Ghostly Staff blue inscription. max stats, good luck!

As far as I'm concerned, this shield can always fall down, nothing says otherwise. It still has to fall and the wiki has to follow behind...

The last time this was discussed the consensus seems to be that blue darkwirng defender don't drop anymore :

I have to desagree with that.

A friend of mine dropped a blue one 1-2 y Years ago. It wan’t max stats, so je merched it.

So yeah, no proof, but i don’t see any reasons he would lie about it.

So i’m really curious : where this darkwing comes from, when and where was it dropped?

Before i start a riot, To sum up, he says he got it from Destruction Depths, more specificly he says (The mission before the final mission)... so DD right? I asked him if he got it in pre acess, he says he remembers playing pre acess, but you couldnt even get as far as DD in that....

Did release eotn have the same drop tables as pre release for a short time? did he just mash through eotn super quick before anything changed? I will never know, He was mainly wondering how rare it was.... my answer to him "its pritty rare"

Yes, there are few excisting, looking at Max's collection you can spot some.

Yep you are correct, dual reds with -5/20% could drop during less than 2 months.

The -5/20% was introduced during the 02 March 2006 update and the dual red were nerfed just before faction release during the 26 April 2006 update.

On a side note it's also the same for the prenerf -5/20% on gold items (so -5/18% and lower) they had to drop in this 2 months time frame.

Well i dont think there is any 100% sure specific reason behind that but my theory is that

1st because +5e mod was added later to the game near factions release, hence it had less time to drop in some way,

2nd as factions came out, ppl were playing factions so most skins dropped since then were from factions until the nerf

3rd i feel core skins dont drop that much in cantha compared canthan skins

But thats just my wild guesses, but the fact is core skin q8 +5es (Bows, hammers, axes, swords hammers) are extreamly rare, and very very few excist at any types.

And it states different attris drop from different sources, any confirmation to this? I also searched around legacy and couldnt find single air magic being sold.

Do OS Eternal Shields/Gloom Shields with 15 Armor exist? And if so, are they pre-nerf or can they still drop?

Also interested in the above. I have a very vague recollection of owning a gold 15 armor dual reduction -2st/-2hex eternal shield in early 2006, but have no screenshots to confirm

15armor drops from maximum someting like lvl20-21 foes or chests, so techically foes that or below can drop gold 15ar if they drop that specific skin.

White and blue drop 15ar.

But also if chest or foe can drop gold 15ar (q8-13), it is right lvl range for q8 drop. Eternal shields no longer drop q8 afaik because the source is too high level, and same applies to 15armor i think

LvL 24 (NM) drop 15 armor, but never see purple or gold version, example:

Drops are determined by foes around them, so chests around summit foes drop summit shields. Ice golems are also summits.

For the question above, ive never seen 20/20 fan with any req or attri, doubt there is one

Tasca's Demise. Small zone, normally 100% summit (except if you have Defend Droknar's Forge active), its up to 4 chests a run (i think). A loop around the whole zone is just a few minutes.

I didnt even notice this until today when purely told me this lol

So! Mixed dyes with same colors, are they a thing? looking this image from gwwiki:

It shows mixing two same dyes isnt techically possible, you cant use same colors multiple times (without other dyes in the mix)

Well, i got my hands into this:

it cannot be used on item, and it shouldn't exist atleast on todays standards

Has anyone seen another, when was the change or bug or what allowed two of same colors be mixed together? or was this normal before? shouldnt two of same color dyes just stack and not mix even with old system?

If anyone has idea, thanks!

I have a Purple Mix that is made up of Purple, Purple, Purple, Purple. And it does look different than just Purple.

Something strange happend to me last week.

Ive been in a FoW speedclear and no joke, the endchest drops non max daggers in HM.

Does anybody had something like this?

I can't say for sure about endchest, but regular locked chest can drop non max damage weapons

Yeah if normal chest can drop non max it can also in the end chest

I'm at Denravi right now and the Axe is +15^Enchanted, the Energy +5 one is from Amnoon Oasis, I don't know if there has been an error of place.
