Nope, q8's in chests are apparently dropping regarding the value of the key to open the chest.

In Proph you can drop q8's in the Maguuma jungle or the desert.

There is some q8's experts on this forum you should more be able than me to answer all your questions Red Fireball

Sorry if i post this in the wrong section.

After starting entering manually my chestrunning stats in a excel sheet, which can be very fastidious I was wondering if there was a tool who could read the drops name / req / color and recording it in an excel sheet.

I was thinking about kamadan.toolbox.com who is (as I believe) just reading/copy/pasting the chat to their server.

Having absolutely 0 knowledge about coding I don't know if and how it would be possible, but if anyone has an idea or so, that would be amazing !

I had 2 reavers in ~90 chests : 1 gold q13 +15^stance and 1 purple

4 chests before Evennia yes, when I say 3 it's before the first gate that you glitch (with heart of shadow I guess ? I'll need to try )

Perma SF also depends on the spawn of very first group of mursaat (3 eles) and the chest after the second part at the group of 10+ ele mursaats

If you don't mind sharing your data ! I don't think I'll have the patience to do so many runs there

I only did 25-30 runs, it never happened to me, but I know what you mean, it's really frustrating....

This run can be done 2 ways :

-Fast run : Going until the first gate and resign (green rectangle on the map) 0 to 3 chests in /age 1minute

-Full run : 4 to 5 chests in /age 6-7minutes (you'll need to break the doors (green rectangles) with the dwarven kegs(blue points) )

Be careful to the catapult shots (-150 damages or half under dark escape)

The warrior dwarves can rupt

The mursaat warriors remove stances

The zealots can cripple you (that's why I use IAU in HM run but can be replaced by death charge for a faster run)

The dwarves and the white mantle will fight together (potential free drop), also if one foe get killed by the catapult

This run is not the fastest or the most efficient, but it's fun for a change

If you're only interested in SSS and SWS do it HM without the quest.

If you want a chance to drop some magma shield, take the quest. But as you said the run will be harder.

If you want magma I'll recommend hell's precipice

Well, that's the two areas (3 with Grenth's footprint) where you have the densest dwarf population as far as I remember.

You can try Thunderhead keep, but that's not really efficient since you don't have a guaranteed chest.

Farming the little people is an option, but I guess you need to be 2 (with a prot monk)

So SSS and SWS drops from dwarves, so anywhere in the southern Shiverpeaks.

I guess the most efficient would be Tasca's demise, without the titans quests (obviously with, you might also drop some magma's shields)

However those midgets hit hard so I will not consider those runs as easy.

The area is pretty small, 1 to 4 chests.

Dreadnought's drift seems a good spot too (1 to 3 chests in 2minutes) but the fact you need to run there, and can't resign makes it a bit more annoying, if you have an alt you consider leaving the zone with)

Ask Oldschool Cool for Tasca and Red Fireball for dreadnought's

Or I might do the maps for you as soon as I can

First of all I want to thanks Agent Chevy for his hard work, he inspired me doing this (make chestrun great again !)

If King Jalis dies, the mission will be aborted.

The trick here is to aggro the very first group (yellow rectangle).

When the mission starts, talk to Jalis ASAP, run to the first group, flag your heroes, alcohol + dwarven stability and keep running

The dwarves and your heroes should defeat the group and get stuck where they are.

OR

Bring an alt with you and make it talk to Jalis, he will stay with your alt and not die.

You can't do the whole mission since you need Jalis to open the fort's gate for you.

You can focus summit chests by going through the bridge straight away, and avoid the avicaras (blue dots)

Possible chests : 0 to 2

/age : 2 minutes

I do skip the lasts 2-3 chests location on the East (near Rhea's crater) because it easily add over 1 minute to the run for 1 (jellyfish) chest (2 times to times)

Well, indrectly.

Chests spawn on foes groups (you will not have a chest randomly spawning in the middle of nowhere without anything around), you are more likely to have a chest when you have 30 mobs around than a single group of 3 enemies, but once again it can happened (like in Pongmei with the groups of 3 foes : 1 island guardian and 2 fungals)

I also love to watch old farms video, as Red Fireball said, a lot of good idea, some of them doesn't work anymore due to nerfs, but can still be reworked !
