There were a few attempts to request having the Kamadan.toolbox Site updated with this feature. I believe the admin of that site asked why it was wanted but it appears that those who don’t solo farm doesn’t understand the benefit or maybe care since they wouldn’t use it.

I fully understand! I don't see any problem with collecting items or wanting one in particular as it relates to it's gold value, I just wouldn't consider one to be more valuable cause it dropped before or after nerf and has the same stats otherwise.

If you want to get caught up in the semantics and weeds (pun intended ;), there is a thread somewhere on Legacy that was a... we will say a friendly debate for sake of argument.... about whether or not a q8 item with a value above the 280g threshold (prenerf) is worth more than a q8 item with the exact same mods but value below 280g (likely postnerf). For example....

Q8 Max Dusk Blade +5e with 420g

Q8 Max Dusk Blade +5e with 240g

First of all, the 2nd one will probably never exist even though it could, but would someone really say when considering to purchase the 420g one "I think I will wait to pay less for the next 240g one to be available".

Oh and since neither are an even 200g, 300g, or 400g, they are both just merch food right? hehe jk!

Hey,

The trick is to always pin heroes outside of the radar zone as drops will get assigned to them otherwise. Each of the 3 chests have places you can pin them so they are out of range.

I run all 3 chests, only the first drop q8 max items but all 3 can drop Crystas, dwarven axes, dwarven hammers, krytan axes, serpent axe (Tyrian) and all skins from UW and FOW like eternal shields, ghostly staves, etc.

In the case of the quest, HM doesn’t change the loot from the keyless chests, only the miners chests. For this reason I always do it in NM as it is faster.

I got my first Q8 max drop from Kilroy's Keyless chest (1st chest as this is the only one that can drop q8 max).

The mod was terrible so it's been merched (story doesn't end here)....

Then... the very next run, same chest (1st chest), I got this.. why couldn't the requirements be reversed????

Unfortunately the Shiverpeak chests cannot drop Q8s, but as Kuginii mentioned, those level 20 mantles can hold a q8 Gold or Purple.

Level 17-21 (21 can as well) can drop purple and gold q8s, but any higher level can drop white or blues only.

Here is my prior data for this run (HM) for 307 chests

This is also one of the few places I have gotten the relatively rare War Hammer (Krytan or aka Match Stick Skin)

This is not related to the one in EOTN, this is specifically the one in Prophecies Sorrow's Furnace.

There are 3 keyless chests that pop up during this quest that only contains purples.

Ahh, gotcha. I have, but they are always low dmg like that one. They do have potential though of having a q8 11-21 HSR 20% Ghostly Staff (<<<<Mind Blown>>>>>)
