Did some Dry Top Chest Running. Not too bad for the first 30 chests....
(Q7 Current Day Max DMG 14-20)

So the chest count is now in question cause when I wrote this post originally I had thought that this pop up chest would be in addition to 2 chests but this one time that just occurred it was just only 1 of 2 again so 3 may not happen, it’s been awhile before now that i did this run.
LOL you can probably rumor anything here and not many people read these chest running posts. I did hear that the legendary Crystalline Hammer can drop here, the crysta sword skin with Blunt dmg.
Side teaser on Maguuma chests, this question inspired me to go do some Dry Top suns (very similar zoning run to this one). When I am at my pc later I will post in the “how did GW treat me today thread”

Dual Vamp bows and hammers are not as desirable as Swords am Axes. I would expect around 20-25e on this one.

Ok... be ready to have your mind blown....
So I did a run just for the purpose of mapping and screenshotting where I have seen a chest spawn upon kill.
Here is the specific Redwood and the location on the map....
So while I was here, I did a few runs back and forth from Ettin's to The Falls to see if I could get this chest to pop. Since the Rewoods can drop q8s, it was a potentially valuable farm.
As I was coming back from the Falls, passed the few spiders and went over the first tree.
The first Redwood Shepherd gave me a dirty look so I stopped to give him a piece of my mind...
Upon it's death...look at what appeared.....
So my new conclusion is that it wasn't that specific Redwood that I had seen this happen with, but multiple.....

I will take some screenshots of location and also try to recreate it. Of course when you are trying to get something to happen it probably won’t cooperate but I certainly will try

Hey, Ya, I believe that's where the count came in but honestly, that can be misleading.
I have changed it to 1-3 (one way). 1-2 is more common, I have seen the 3rd appear when you kill one specific Redwood Sheperds.

I saw a Chevy symbol appear in the sky over my home so I think I am being signaled to weigh in.
Even as an avid Q8 15-21 sword collector, I would personally have to let this one go to the merchant heavens myself. I would be all over this if it was 15-21, however 14-21 is now 2 off from max making it undesirable.
You may find someone for 5-10e but may be hard to sell. Sorry for the bad news. I will say a prayer for this sword.

These are my Enchanted Warrior Sets.
Same Shield, however set depends if I am using a Sword or Axe build.
Since I have a -1HP handicap on shield, thought it would be fair to have the same on the weapon.
If I want and extra handicap, I will use the Purple GDA for -1% DMG.

does Napui Quarter have same q8 drop rates?
Or is bukdek do better? I know both are canthan chests but not sure if celestial items change the drop rate.
It just dawned me that your reference of Napui was the mission with celestials, the stats above for my chest runs will be the explorer area from from Senji's Corner, this is full of Am Fah and Jades. Sorry for the confusion.

It sure does, it's all about the level chest and if a skin can drop from it. All Canthan Chests have a chance of dropping a q8 in NM, each location will differ in what it drops for skins (generally based on the surrounding enemy). With that in mind, it's all personal preference. I only mentioned Jitte or Dusk Blade as those would be super rare. Celestials likely have a higher chance (keep in mind it is still low chances either way).

You're welcome! That run has a lot of armor but in NM, you also have chances for some descent Q8 skins (Swords, shields, focus only). Make sure you remember who shared this when you get a q8 Jitte or Dusk Blade hehe jk.

Nice one! That is max for q8 scythe. There may be others out there, however as a low level post nerf collector for many years, this is only the 2nd one I have seen and I have the other.
With that in mind, I would be interested so I can’t PC it, but can confirm, it has value.
