As I was gathering my +1/20% shields, i found almost two identical twins
(I guess the words "almost" and "identical twins" really doesnt match, but hey!)
They may have been divided at birth, but they are reunited forever!
Fraternal twins, pretty damn similar in certain ways, but not a creepy exact copy 😆

My main accnt is just over 16 yrs, my alt is 12ish.
I also had my first necro as on a spare char slot on a friend's account before that (That account was has proph preorder /bonus Canthan Targe, dunno exact accnt age). I didn't start playing on it until about 4 months b4 factions came out with my necro, and tested out his high levels. I then decided to buy my own copys of proph and then factions, etc as they came out and i had spare $.

Mantids drop them, but try to only farm them during favor to avoid overfarming them. Once the anti farm code kicks in the gold item drop rate gets soul-crushingly bad.

i thought of a possible compromise between this and ironman.
I brainfarted calling it "Console Wars" where its basically this, but a set number of lives, 3 or something like an OS side-scroll game.

I've popped back and forth from beacons to rankor looking for ppl headed to him and offered runs to dreadnoughts for tips before, they just needed their own heroes to me able to get thru dreadnaughts.

If only there was a website that pulled info from gw chat text and other things like material merchants that could probably also pretty easily add a favor tracker to their website, not that multiple people ever expressed interest...

My 2nd ever ZKey yielded me an EL Transmo, which I sold criminally cheap due to naivety.
The following 19998 keys gave 2 q9 voltaics and 0 eblades.
It's done - never again.
I had a friend give me 275 keys to open towards my title a few weeks ago, but deal was any super rare drops went to him....
I'm part way up r10, zero good so far, i figured nothing much would happen.
It was mine for 10 seconds. 😆

I don’t know much about this. Just that sometimes when an item will be dropped, the enemy will have it equipped. Examples are that shield, urgoz with an fds, random assassin enemies with vampiric daggers will cause blips of vampiric damage.
I wish it was a little more predictable.
I'm aware of all that, hence my comments about him having the lotus wielded that run, and hoping a run with the face he drops it.
Another one is naga warriors dropping the fds if they have it wielded.

Ok, so I proved he can drop the shield he wields...
he had the lotus that time, i look b4 i lure him to my spirits.
Now if he will just drop his shield when he has the Tribal (Effigy/Face) wielded.
Unfortunately, at his lvl i think 5ar may be max or close, he's just a baby heket.

the game is nearing two decades old, and has been fully automated for upkeep for ~10 yrs, there is *maybe* two ppl actively working on gw.
Yes, it's unique.
Yes, gw2 is not very similar.
But, they are *not* going to say "hey, lets give up ppl from gw2 to go do big updates to the old game very few people play"
Be glad with the gfx and QoL updates we got, even those were above and beyond what anyone should *reasonably* expect from a game that has been out of active development for over 10 yrs.

As I was chest running with a few heroes, suddenly my party was defeated, but as you can see, myself and one hero was very much alive. Morgahn and I continued to locate 2 more chests and open them successfully with this on my screen.
Anyone else experience this?

I've pulled the opposite and done /resign thinking i picked up my last drop, but my inventory was full leaving who knows what unclaimed on the ground, on many an occasion.

Oni shroud all they ever give me lol. Did get gold dags once but never seen any blade at all. Still think a gold isn't possible
The gold +5e nonmax baby oni blade is my dream, but idk if it will ever happen. It's why the Oni are on my feathers route, esp during favor.

Got a little something I've not seen b4. Pretty certain the mini Oni's on Shing Jea cant drop Oni blades but it turns out you can get them when a chest spawns on them
Oh they drop them too, i have a 8-10 dmg white no req one.
