A shields req plus 8 equals the current max armor for that req.
Sorry for the side question: why can the min dmg be 7? Post searing the maximum minimum damage is 6.
7 min dmg axes happen in post too, they're just a rare oddity of the drop tables

In order for the x00g to help, it needs to be decent to begin with... like q9 insc at least, or dualmod if an os shield, wand or focus. Or os q9 20/20 matching on a staff (possibly higher req on some rare skins). Or on melee q9 15^50, +5e, dv, zv

I noticed since kamadan.gwtoolbox.com came back online since its last outage that any search you do the oldest result is about 10 hours old (as of now). They seem to have hidden (or lost) prior history. You used to get more results as you scrolled down a search, not anymore.

It's easiest to figure out ones like +5e on melee weapons it shows even in towns (then also go outside and cast SF at 12 shadow arts to test for an enchant handle, unid caster one handed weapons are neat)

I finally had this happen to me. Idk what caused it, i hadn't been swapping characters a lot or logged in long.
It just randomly happened in a town between chest runs.
I shut down gw and restarted to fix it.
+5 armor / -20hp is actually one inherent, not two mods like you need for an os focus to be worth anything
I agree with you all mesmers should be nerfed and ritualists definitely need to be buffed (as much as possible)

Clearly, all ritualist spirits should get that new longer range certain ranger spirits got, or possibly extended to compass, or full map range... and the ability to pierce through obstacles.

Wicked Blade is very common in echovald forest areas (like dragon moss farm), so any of them not q9 (other than dual vamp) holds very little value
Salvage the hale head (1-2e ish) and ench wrap (2e ish) for use on a better staff.
The condition reduction inherents aren't valued by anyone really.
The sad thing is, even if that dazed reduction was hct dom 20% it would still only be worth 10-15e and *still* be hard to sell. Most "core" staff skins hold very little value, they are just too common.
The q10 kinda kills collector value, and nearly everyone hates hexmods i'd take basically any offer on it.
OS blue q8 focuses aren't worth anything. Focuses from Prophecies and Factions can't be modded, so you're stuck with that one useless inherent.

And the irri was tactics, which is much more wanted than command for pvp
War in Kryta there is only one version of the quests, there wasn't duplicate quests for HM
Winds of Change there is a second HM version of every quest if you turn on HM after completing the NM version.

OS means drops with inherent effects, not an inscription slot. As in drops from Prophecies and Factions. Inscriptions were added with NF and EotN.

On current shields its easy... its req +8 should equal the armor value, so max armor on q6 is 14 armor.
Shield +30hp is a couple ectos and so is +10vs earth insc

I think a list of generallz valuable mods would be useful, but for prices we should spread among newcomers that for regularly sold items such as mods, kamadan.gwtoolbox.com is the best bet.

The holy rod isn't max dmg, and the skull shield isn't max armor.
The 20% Aptitude Not Attitude insc on the holy rod is worth 10e or so however.
That one was a q8 tactics (wanted for pvp) armor 16 that up to that point in GW, nobody had seen drop as q8, ever, since NF released. It only was theory that it *probably could.* It finally did. Q8 max is orders of magnitude rarer than q9 or q10
Q9 would be 10-15e
