I really appreciate the moderators keeping the forum running and working on the rules.
The 5-post limit has run for some time now. I've seen new accounts revive age-old threads with bland or irrelevant comments, or ask questions that can be easily found on the forum or wiki. I think the rule has watered down the quality of the forum. Now whenever I see a new post, I have to distinguish if the person was genuinely asking questions / making comments, or just trying to fulfil the 5-posts limit, in which case I would ignore him.
For example, on my dead 5-year-old thread (here), some guy asked a question I already answered in the original post. It's obvious he was posting for the limit. And this is happening everywhere. Might as well give these posts a red tag saying "posting for the limit, can ignore". I think the rule is not stopping people from posting bids, but forcing people to post spams.
My suggestion: Remove the 5-post limit. Or make it a 1-post limit in the Introductions Thread. In my opinion it makes more sense. If a new guys wants to trade, let him introduce himself a bit instead of forcing him to spam 5 times. At least that confines the spam and doesn't affect the rest of the forum.
Again, I really appreciate the moderators. Thank you for all the efforts.
Imagine if the only mention of it be one line at the bottom of the rules.... 😆

I got a few farming HM Corsairs in Plains of Jarin Fissure.
Maybe give that a shot.
I love that spot in nm too because of eotn skin no reqs...
Also, seeing lvl 7 to 10 drop lockpicks is hilarious.

The of memory wrap is an ecto or two, and the aptitude not attitude insc is 10e or so.

One thing about +5e on say a warrior, lots of warriors use warriors endurance as energy management, but, the skill has a cap as to how much energy it will charge to. Adding the energy mods makes you have a larger energy pool but low warrior regen for that last bit, no skill help.
In pve i use a +5e on my assassin sometimes if i'm bringing pain inverter just to have the extra energy..

Could you perhaps edit the title/content of this sticky to more clearly say its OS uninsc ones only? People keep thinking insc ones are something special too, and the sticky doesn't mention non-inscribable until the last paragraph.

All inscribable Serpent Axes are Tyrian, they are easy to find in eotn.
Only OS uninscribable Tyrian Serpent Axes are the expensive ones because they have not dropped in Prophecies for many, many, years.
They *do* drop still OS in Factions, but those are sized and dye differently.

If you wanna try dead staves, go to gadds and just run back n forth on the first level of SoO, i get a fair amount of them there doing eotn tours (i pick chests on the way lol)

It can happen on any wand that drops for multiple professions attributes, like jade, amber, zodiac, cele, etc
Doesnt the new skins also drop mixed attris, even if they only drop single profession requirement
Idk much about the os versions of the new skins. I'm unsure if they share the same drop mechanics as 'old' os drops.

Ok; extra update. There are a few things changed with the last server update, but in the new version of the forum software there is also a change that has an impact on how files are uploaded and delivered. I'm going to contact the developers of our software and investigate with them.
In the meantime, all caches have been rebuilt, all attachments have been checked so no server site it all looks good for now.
I'll keep you all up to date!

Yes, there is a problem. I tested with images already uploaded to the forum in the past, but it doesn't work anymore.
Someone mentioned it in general discussion yesterday and i put a thread in forum suggestions and help so kev will see it. You *can* click those image links, it'll download, then you can view them. 😉

16 armor does not drop at q7 anymore... (as in before nf and insc were a thing)
This is the current max armor a q7 has been able to drop for years

Ya, but as a fellow new gw legacy user, navigating this site is a bit confusing at first, and finding the exact post to explain this was a bit challenging for me to find as well. So I don't blame them for posting. Plus, what's the issue with posting a question on a forum, especially if its a new user? Shouldn't we be encouraging people to post and ask questions and be a part of the community

If it's the metal skin even a q9 is only low XXe, (like 10-50e for q9 *if* someone needs it, hard sale)
Twin Serpent is worth slightly more, but q11 kills it pretty good. If Twin Serpent you might be able to actually sell it for 10-20e if lucky.
(As usual wait for another opinion, mine is sometimes off by a ways)

Bone Dragon Staff isn't new, its end chest in shards of orr exclusive, but yes the trade chat site is a good place to check, they are commonly traded in kamadan.

Just a tip, shields drop any req and the req plus 8 equals the max armor for the req. Q0 is 8ar, q8 is 16ar (minimum req for full 16max ar) and its the same math for every req shield in between.

The bow itself is q8 post nerf max dmg, but not the best skin so you might squeeze at least a few ectos from it possibly.
The leadership mod helps make shouts a little less energy, but not by much. Idk if its worth much.

We're excited to announce we have permanently added a new series of suffix mods, "of the (Profession)". These are available as rare drops on main-hand weaponry. These mods have the following special features:
- They increase the associated profession's Primary Attribute stat up to a small limit, even if the equipping character normally would not have access to it.
- The weapon will be upgraded with a special streak effect when used in combat, based on the profession's associated color. In the case of spears, bows, rods and staffs, which often don't support a streak on the weapon itself, this streak is applied to their projectiles.
- For Rods, as with other suffixes, these mods will only appear in Nightfall or Eye of the North areas."

Today I've noticed this symbol again at the trader, on some rare materials, but not all, without any answer as to what it means (?) Except that sometimes it's not present. Depending on a change in stock, purchase, sale, price (?)
So I thought I'd post it here this time.
Is that possibly from toolbox? My vanilla trader has no such marks.

Usually its the jade armors at melee range that slow you. Watch the group and step to a caster when they are at the back of the group, then run like hell.
(And YES, INFUSION. The back route at iron mines of moldune is an easy run to get it done. Add heroes, flag them at start, run to seer, cutscene will warp heroes to you to go fight the land squid with, collect essense, go back to seer.)
