It's like the black dye bug. Traders offer base merch price for things.

Ruby 250g
Steel 30g
Del steel 30g
Glass vial 20g
Nobody will fill them for these offers 🤣

didn't the dev(s) say after the somewhat recent 'restock' of black dyes at the trader, that if such a situation occurs again they'd look into fixing it properly?

He is an exception with the ecto. It seems as though this is done deliberately by those who abuse the system (?)

It makes no sense. He's buy rubies and sapphires for around 4k and ectos for 100g now. In fact, if you test with different materials, it changes all the time.

That's it, no more ectos for sale now, and even if they come back like certain materials/runes, they sell out very quickly.

Are you requesting a quote? Because he shows one item price, but if i get a quote, its always the plain merch minimum for that item

The last price paid was high and he's offering you a ridiculously low price, after requesting quote. But sometimes the price, as shown in my screenshot above, is higher (a few seconds?) The game is broken.
Edit: All the scrolls were back a few minutes ago, but now they're gone again... Check this picture with time for crafting Material ->

this has been attempted with ecto in the past but could not be kept up for too long i think.
if this keeps going people doing it would need quite a supply of platinum, so its either some coordinated or planned out effort, or with the recent reforged attention some new people have found some sort of exploit to create platinum

DrStephenCW replied and rectified this in some capacity during yesterday. Looks like they will take a deeper look at it going forward.
Interesting they mentioned that the Traders have a halt if certain items get out of range.. I wonder if people will try and work out what they are.
