Hey all, I am planning on playing through all the campaigns with a new class, starting in Prophecies. Since I already have every Proph class besides Mesmer and Ranger, I'm gonna roll one of them. I like Ranger more, but read that Ranger sucks in PvE and Mesmer is meta. Since I will probably play with heroes/mercs only, I don't want to screw myself over by picking Ranger. Is it really that bad to go with Ranger over Mesmer? Does Ranger really suck that hard in PvE content? Thanks in advance
