Somewhere in early EotN if I were a guessing man. Someone might be able to add the specific location though!

Assets are reused but they seem like areas just for the selection. Would be interesting to hear otherwise.
Is there an area in the game that corresponds to the place displayed in the character selection screen? Seems to me they'd not want to waste an area, so I'd guess it must be in-game, probably with a different sky and lighting to make it look different, with the high part there the character stands being an inaccessible area during regular game play.

Its really amazing that a game that is 15+ years old has questions still being asked about it. I put GW2 down in November of 2020 to check out GW1 again and for the most part havent been back to GW2. GW1 was a home run when it came out, would be cool if they could do a redux version with updated graphics engine and maybe some control tweaks

Dang... Actually it almost make me cry when i saw this... I remember the old proph/faction background.
It would be awesome to get the possibility to choose wich one you want when you log one... :heart:
