Xander's Amazing Build Service!

    Heyo people!


    Welcome to this post!


    I have decided to offer my services to create personal builds just for you!


    Here is how it works:

    1. You tell me what you want (Player build, Hero build or Team Build)


    2. You give me the minimum requirements you want filled:

    -> Which profession do you want the build for? (or builds for the Team Build)

    -> Which skills do you want to use? (i.e. Elementalist needs to run Blinding Surge, needs to have Fall Back etc)

    -> Do you want a specific weapon? (i.e. Warrior needs to play Hammer, Ranger needs to play Spear)

    -> For what purpose do you want the build? (General PvE, Fast Clearing, Playing Extra Safe (Survivor?))

    -> If it is a player build, do you want to use PvE Skills? (Yes, no, or specific ones)

    -> Will you be using Cons or Essences of Clerity when using the build? (Need to know for potential IAS skills perhaps^^)


    3. I will do my best to include all your wishes and make the best Builds I can:)


    4. If you are happy with the offered Builds, feel free to leave behind a tip! This is not necessary however, I just enjoy making new builds!:)

    I would def be interested in 8 rit way 👅

    I even got the name for you : r8tualist way.


    - all chars have to be ritualists first prof

    - can use skills from second prof

    - one rit gotta be a tank

    - I want at least 4 Rits with heavy DPS, up to you if they deal DMG with an axe I don't mind.

    -mana management is needed for healers and dps


    Rest is up to you, cheers !

    New Skill: The ability to use one of Xander's Special Comps. Use the Ultimate Team Comp for those Shiny Axes you are hiding and you shall not know defeat.

    I am not a ritu Fan in particular but these builds could make me one :P


    If I am allowed another shot:


    8 People

    - All ranger secondary

    -All with pets

    -build should Synergize around pets/Physical dmg

    -all diffent main proffessions

    The P/Me and P/N weren't as easy to make useful, but I tried my best. I have thrown in a P/R as a bonus since I thought it might be quite good with Splinter Weapon atleast ^^

    Hey!


    Could you come up with one build for each profession for general PvE play (clearing missions etc)

    I have one character of each profession i want to drag through all expansions and the aim is to be able to have one Hero of each profession (no duplicate classes!) that i can just throw together and they will work well as a team :) obviously substituting one out depending on which i am playing at the time.

    No special requirements other than if possible keeping them to using only skills for their own profession :P

    what i like :


    there is definetly something to do with : rit + necro + para mass minions + overboosted minions


    hints i like.... :


    self player with 3 weapon forge + gdw or brute weapon to spam on a chad golem

    explosive growth + nova for minions

    one rit/para with songs and shouts that affect minions, could be self player

    one rit/necro boosting the minions with hex/ench...

    I like the idea of keeping one dogm and sos ritualist as dps, as they honestly have the highest dmg build + that really helps for tankiness


    I think ST becomes useless if there is mass ally minions but am not sure

    Bone Minions at 12 death have ~420 health (including spawning power) and 30 armor. Every damage packet they receive in any non trivial situation is going to eat a shelter charge. An ST rit is not going to work.


    Sitting in a middle ground between two fundamentally opposing concepts will leave you with something mediocre at best. Focus on either boosting the minions for damage or bombing. The effectiveness of minion damage grows exponentially with death magic so I would advise the latter, though your horrors will have ~540 health + 58 armor which maybe is useable if you really want to try that route.


    Order of Pain is party member only so it won't do anything for your minions or spirits. It's also not advisable to add another sacrifice skill to your bip, or to have something so time intensive on a healer.


    Maybe have Assassin's Promise + EVAS on the player bar to help ball the enemies and absorb the biggest hits before the minion horde arrives? Maybe try spirit's gift and/or blood bond to help sustain them.


    I would think two copies of BotM requires a meaningful increase on the amount of healing you've got there.

    I had a blast with Gentleman Xander playing some missions with a minion based build.


    Basicly it was a huge army of the ranged minion that got buffed with Great dwarf weapon and also they benefitted from Ebon Standart Wich at the end all leeds to a sweat bonus dmg with perma knock downs.


    Serpants quickness on the dwarf weapon player with 16 spawn + potential cons leads to a very long duration and not much CD.


    Now a MoP there as well and Barbs when fighting big bosses.


    Everthign just melts. Even HM. We where kinda impressed and didn't expected that.


    Only downside. It's a lot of micro gaming. Fun at first. But gets annoying a bit ngl.


    Only works in areas with a good amount of corpses so it's not suitable for everything but is fun for some missions or VQs to switch it up.


    We still liked the minion idea. So we switched to melee minions and bombing. The meatshields in front soak so much dmg and biscly work as a front line and them dieing beeing part of their task let's you focus on better thing then buffing them or keeping them alive.
