Wood Floor. We have slate floors and it gets cold, plus you can slide along wood floors in your socks! :cool:

Ehrmahgherd... you just set off every "technical term abuse" alarm I have.....
The light is the metal bit that holds the lamp, the lamp is the bit that actually lights up. (You probably know the lamp as the bulb)

Also you can put underfloor heating under wood and slate - I do this sort of thing for a living
