The truth about Pre-Nerf

The term 'nerf' applies. The req one needs to get the full power of something is a change in the weapon's power. If an item can only happen at req 9 now that was previously available at req 8 it's power has changed. You can no longer get full power at req 8.

Yes but no, making undroppable only a few skins wasn't intended as a nerf from ncsoft. They would have to made undroppable every shields q8 to call it a nerf but that's not the case

but meh, I guess we all have our own definition, logic or not

Yeah this been discussed over and over same as os vs non insc. But yeah majority of playerbase calls items that are undroppable prenerf including me, because you cant get it = they nerfed it, sure if we go here alot of the so called nerfs been actually buffs but simply to make it easyer to understand for community its better just use 1 term that most can understand

One skin or all skins is not the point. Q8 of the skin was nerfed. All currently dropped OS shields of those skins are q9+ so the power of those old drops is no longer attainable, hence 'nerfed'.

Loot scaling was the ultimate nerf. It ended everything we know and love.

Back on track, I dont see the issue, "nerfed" items are clearly outlined in the first post. But even then I would rather call them OS then "nerfed" to avoid confusion. It was 100% intentional to nerf these drops, and I believe on Galies Wikipage she clearly states that items with these requirements should not exist. Im not sure why they decided this would affect such skins as Crystalline, Dwarven etc but it was a very very wide spread "Nerf".

Yeah thats exacly my thoughs cosy it could be possible someone having unused code but what are odds for that

yeah, as ths says

well, well.

sigils can be still identified, however the value is no longer increased by 1p, but a random amount (from 1 gold to 900+). i didn't identifed enough to find how can can reach this value.
that's why i think what you said is a bit "wrong" ikki , let's just say not complet

I identified a cele sigil about a week ago that is worth ~1.6k, I got it from HA chest same day.

Ah yeah, i looked more into it and found this note on gwwiki "After the February 7, 2013 update (which made Celestial Sigils sellable to merchants), she will only pay the merchant value for a Celestial Sigil (i.e. 1Platinum for Celestial Sigils acquired after that update), even though the "last paid" price displays a higher amount. If a Celestial Sigil acquired before that update has been identified, she will pay the identified merchant value of that Celestial Sigil.)"

Someone should try test this somehow? XD IF theres some way to test it

IF i understood right, if u got old celestial sigil, you get "last paid" price for sigil trader (like i checked now it seems be 49k, but if u try sell new sigil, he will only pay 1k or the identified value)

Now we just need someone with old celestial sigil to test it

10-14% mods like 1/10-1/14, 10-14% ench etc drop from blue items

15%+ purples

My theory:
2 stacks, because the game made the distinction between the Bday presents you get directly in your inventory (1-7th Bday), and the Bday presents you get after tradding for PNJ in GToB (Donnatrice Xunlnai in franch, sry idk the english name^^).

this affects the Bday presents, and the EL tonics (which are stackable too)

i think i'm close the the reality, but if some1 has more infos, i'll be happy to hear them

It happened to me several times to have non stackable 6th Bday tonics (I still got a few) and a while ago I had stackable minis (like 4 different kinds), no idea where this is from.

I Had a Non Inscribble BDS Once lol sold it for 50e

BDS without inscription slots can still drop, as with any weapon having no inherent. It's rare that it happens but not 'prenerf'.

you just answered it urself here, so as it says on list aswell, wands with resto req are prenerf

Today i was able catch up first time in several years with prenerf king, legend, my sensei who was again able teach me new things!

Here some prenerf stuff to be added on the list (and also ideas bout bow are welcome tho, i was able confirm other stuff myself)

allways good day when learning new stuff

Anyhow, while making that image i though it would be nice and helpfull add gallery of all types of prenerf items on original list like below the explanation text so it would be easyer to understand for ppl and exacly see whats it about.

If others agree on the idea (especially mods) i could try look throw my screenshots id prob have examples about most of stuff! (i dont mean like each diff rune or each diff mixed dye etc, but 1 item of each type added on the list of 1st page)

Unfortunately, this isn't entirely true. There's at least one collector that offers such a staff (he's in pre-searing, but there are probably more). You could probably add mods to it, too, making it blue.

Thats good point! i noticed it too earlier when i was doing research for the items above that there are quests in presearing too that give q0 staffs without HSR mods, as far as i know all of them are q0 tho, (someone correct me if u can find higher) but didnt think it this way
