I wanted to make this thread to bring more discussion, it's probably way too late, but i recently just logged back in and found out they did a major damaging update to old, loyal and returning players.
Why on earth did Anet decide to fuck with the OS market? i'm talking about the update that reintroduced OS crystas and serpents back into the mix, now everything not req8 is indistinguishable from old, this feels like destroying a piece of guild wars history.
I'm sure all old veteran trader's know what the feeling i am talking about. Remember buying that OS grail that has been the most sought after OS skins, yeah well now if it isn't a req8(we don't even know if crystas/serps are able to drop in req8 from the new update) you won't be able to tell and now it's lost all it's specialness that made it a grail in the first place.
Another change like re-naming certain skins(crysta, Serp etc) to a new name and making it drop as OS would make more sense, they would have literally brought life back to the game by creating a new market without destroying an existing market. Absolute Buffoons in charge of the game.
This is like if WotC reprinted the power 9 cards and made them indistinguishable from the old copies.
