Very interesting. Any idea when and where this dropped?

If it's any consolation, your mystery friend or mystery friend's friend is holding a prenerf Lian's Lantern. Should totally link him the thread and see if they have something new. Way spicier than some silly ol' candy corn juice.

10a curses zodiac staff

bump, new listings. will last 2 or 3 days before removing for a new set.

While these skins are generally well-liked, these particular items won't see much interest. The illusion ghostly staff lacks an inherent mod, and the blood ghostly has an undesired inherent (condition reduction).
Crenellated is a high req with an undesired inherent. I would merch this and both ghostly staves.
The oni is the best one here, but will still be difficult to sell due to being req11. I'd say maybe a couple ectos if someone really wants it. But it's probably not gonna be worth the time it takes to find a buyer. I'd merch or keep for personal use.

One more time before poof and a new set is added.

I would merch the following (or keep for personal use if you like them):
q12t Cele shield
q12t Iridescent Aegis
q11 Cele Hammer
q12t Iridescent Aegis
q11 Fiery Blade Axe
q12c Demonic Aegis
q12 Fellblade
q11 Amethyst Aegis
q10 Icy Blade Axe
q13 Cele Sword
q12 Magmas Shield
q10s Cele Shield
q11m Diamond Aegis
The q11 Obsidian Edge and q10 Voltaic Spear are the most valuable things here. I'm seeing a wts for 220e and 55e respectively, in the past week or so. May get more, may get less.
The two q9 eternal shields and the guardian of the hunt may see a few ectos each, but will likely be difficult to sell. While some of these skins are nice/wanted, insc. ones are incredibly common due to the zaishen chest.
The black beast mini might be like 5k (typically not worth the time trying to find a buyer).
The nonmax plagueborn focus may see interest with someone like PyroLobster . Otherwise I'd probably recommend merching.
I've sent you a link with information about greens, too (same link that's in my signature). Have a look at that and get back to me or this thread with any questions. Thanks

Greens are very hit and miss. Kepkhets (the first prenerf/gold version) is relatively popular because of its color and is usually an easy sell for 1-3a. Most other not-so-obvious greens tend to see very little interest here on Legacy (besides me). That said, I’m interested in the mallet and wand. Wand is definitely prenerf. Mallet is tough to tell from this screenshot (it’s a pretty slight difference to begin with) and the screenshot I have for it in the thread is of someone else’s custo’d one, so the quality is a little off. Next time I’m on we can confirm it and any others you may have missed.
Mixed dyes in more desirable colors (blues, purples usually) tend to go for what? 5-10a? Maybe someone else can chime in on those.
As for the protective icon, the +5a -20hp is just a standard mod that foci can drop with. Nothing special. Can safely merch it.
Same with the sephis axe. Q9 15^50 still drop regularly for those. Can keep for personal use, merch, whatever. Maybe 5-10e to an interested buyer imo.

As Red and Pyro have pointed out, #1-4 and #8 are all prenerf. To help with identifying what's prenerf and what isn't, check out this section on legacy that we have dedicated to such information. You may have other various items that fall within the "prenerf" category.
Within that section is a thread for green weapons. Many of these can be prenerf too.
If you have things like 1-4 and #8 just laying around, there's a decent chance any greens you have will be prenerf as well. This is a pretty recent development (less than 2 years atm), but the thread should spell it out pretty clearly. I strongly suggest giving that a look before selling/merching/trashing any you have (check your heroes as well). If you'd like, you can post them in a new PC thread when you're satisfied with the responses for this one, or reach out to me for confirmation if you're unsure which ones you have. The link can also be found in my signature.
Good luck!

I think the general consensus is that favor has no effect on drops from chests (any of them). Our perceptions of being lucky/unlucky are often pretty skewed, and it'd be hard to quantify actual improvements.
For chest drops being "assigned" to people upon loading in, I'm pretty sure this is correct. The evidence for this is the fact that in HM, sometimes one person will get more than one normal or elite tome assigned to them from a single chest, and then someone else (or 2+ other people) will get nothing from that same chest. In theory, one could get up to 12 tomes from a single chest in the deep or urgoz's warren, with the rest of the party getting nothing, but I think the max I've ever seen is 3.
Thanks to the discovery of the Silver Edge, you could determine when exactly favor begins/ends with relation to zoning into a map. I haven't tested this yet, but I've been meaning to. Because one of the requirements for the Silver Vaettir is favor, you could zone into Drakkar Lake with favor up, wait for it to end, and then proceed with spawning the vaettir. If it still spawns, then favor persists on a given map if it was loaded into before favor ends. Conversely, you could zone in without favor, wait for it, and then proceed with the spawn. If it works, then you can assume favor begins/ends immediately as it's announced. If not, it requires a rezone to take effect on a given map.
Hope this helps. I'm sure Red Fireball and/or Agent Chevy could chime in with some info too.
