don't fall for pms too fast. mauso shield extremely rare and a new one on the market will get some interest even if it is a shitmod one
ram skin war hammer also dope rare and rather desired.
the q7 shields should also fetch at least 10a-50a maybe also way more.
and the matching prenerf shields are cool - those will also get interest (tall&aegis&eternal) I'd guess 10-100a each
the q8 prenerf shields also will always fetch arms - 10-50 my guess.
the forbidden staff isn't prenerf, but perf and should fetch 10a+ - we rarely have forbidden staves.
sotw is far off max and not prenerf -I'd merch.
same goes for the metal earth staff... standard 20/10. merch
the amber is matching and rare, but high req and undesired skin - I'd hero or merch.
battlepick cool prenerf. 10-30a, maybe more?
and the wicked isn't prenerf, but useable and perf purple, I'd still see 5-10a
I'd advise to put all the prenerfs/mauso on an auction and let it run for a while.

just a short note: the new mods do not stack with heroic refrain, shadow theft, consumables or blessings. so no way to get beyond 5 on those foreign primary attris.

20-100e, bad mod but still a dualmod q8
10-20e, personally I might even merch
2-5a, stance I don't think is desored as much, but I might be mistaken
10-30a quite rare, yet skin not so popular
10-50e, ask Agent Chevy before you trash it.

in the end I will not participate in the contest as in I can win a prize, but items I find will be taken from the list.
for every proof of a claim only the first to post here will recieve the points.
I want to leave the option open to extend the deadline if there is too little contribution till end of anniversary. But it shall at latest end end of this year so you have something to work toward. let's say at least an accumulated value of 30points must have been earned.

yes staff is oldschool (it does not read "Inscription:..." anywhere) and is worthless. you should salv the adept head and sell for 1-5e

I really don't see the big inflation coming... I might even argue the prices will barely be affected by the vast presence of those minis but much rather by the panic sales right now and will go back to normal soon enough. remember when the insc crystas came to be... and were added to the zchest... anyone can buy himself a perf crysta these days and still the os perfect versions are veryVERY far from worthless. and the only way to differentiate between the two would be showing in a trade window. the tradeable versions are and will be unobtainable and will further be used as currencies due that - no new ones were introduced to the market, if you hold one it is precisely as goddamn rare as before. BIG difference to the asian minis from the bday presents. I really don't get the panic.

Do I receive 5 points retroactively for confirming the existance of a new max for q3 staff earlier this year
As much as I agree that was a very worthy find I wouldn't know where to draw the line if granting points retroactively... also my predictions are made based on the status as is and as such on certain entries when awarding points retrospectively I would have a hard time telling if it would have been predicted or not. on the 9-14: that one would have been predicted, as wands have that max damage listed already as do purple and blue/white staves. So I cannot award points retrospectively I'm afraid. I hope this does sound reasonable

I felt like the upcoming 20th anniversary would make the perfect occasion to get some of these values fixed.

we do see a general pattern: the min dmg for q1-5 is always the same, which is due to the fact that items with req start dropping at 9g unid for blue and white, and 6g for prp. 9g then yields the reqs 1-5, where q6 just starts at 10g, so on some weapons due rounding the q6 min damage is the same and on some is one higher. purple starts dropping on lvl7, which have a min value of 5g, which is the only place where you can get the q0 purple items and consequently the min q0 in prp on staves will differ from blue/white. the other way round the wep types max dmg occurs at q9-13, where again due to rounding on some weapon types the max damage is also possible on a q8 (foc shield sword). in between the ranges are pretty much linear to the req, which gives us some more candidates for lower/higher possible options as compared to what we have. Also staves and wands should be all identical in all rarities on min/max damages (except the min stats at the start of each rarity, since the higher rarities start dropping at higher level and hence higher min stats... read the table you will see what I mean) On top of that there is a very small set of items that I have been shown that have stats exceeding with a believable claim they dropped recently yet not meeting our standard of making absolutely sure (aka insc item or item still on ground or unid) so those could not be added.
long story short: I would like to award people for new entries with money from my own bank - if anyone felt like it I'd certainly accept donations to fund these or would also accept people refraining to accept their reward - I'd want to set out a prize as motivation to start the hunt.
the bounty hunt will run until end of the ingame anniversary event, starting now. You can earn points:

those are the best sources listed (aka highest chance for the drop) for blue and white items.
the range where something is possible usually goes down 3-5 levels from there (e.g. for a max q3 you read lvl15, it is possoble to get in the range lvl11-15.)

it really comes down to what you are facing. armor mods are most useful against things that accumulate the most damage to you. for example warriors are pretty well armored against physical damage already, so a elemental mod often reduces overall damage more than an additional physical mod. also consider armor calculation (check wiki or google it): inherent armor mods are treated as bonus armor and thus often are neglected in regular gameplay while you are under effect of another armor buff. this means a insc shield +10fire won't behave as the same one in os. but depending on your build, team and buffs they might be equal.
on top in regions with just one creature type or primarily one the creature mods can come in handy. I think HeavensDevil covered the important ones. the remaining being dragon, giant, tengu, troll, which just do not really occur in greater scope whilst ofc there exist some farming locations where those are relevant - and skeleton, which mainly is an inferior undead mod, but in UW/FoW tge skeletons seem to belong to other armies than undead and as such the skeleton mods come into play.
in southern shiverpeaks for example you might bring a cold mod on an insc shield rather than a dwarf mod on an os one, if you decide to bring armor increasing skills in your bar or allies that'd supply such to you. but here it gets a little too much into detail, it wouldn't affect gameplay much. after all 10armor is just a reduction of that type of damage by ~16%...
something else to consider: lightning damage spells often have 25% armor penetration, so a lightning mod is in tendency weaker than other elements. physical mods come on top of your other armor privileges as a warrior, so for a fixed damage of 100 against a 60ar target that packet will get fewer reduction if it is physical and you use the proper physical armor mod than compared to if it were a elemental and you used the proper armor mod. so it comes down to the distribution of phys/elemental damage - if you take more from the one take the armor mod against that. where you already take small damage packets a damage reduction is more effective (also it is not penalized by armor penetration), so a -2we does never harm on top of a armor mod - but that again is only possible on os shields, where the armor mods are inferior compared to insc... so just ideally bring a dualreduction shield

hey, I don't think that is conclusive - else from the entries we have a 5-17 should be possible, which definitely isn't. axes are a bit weird, since some combinations do not drop where lower AND higher ones do (5-15 does and 5-25 does drop, whereas 5-20 doesn't - not in any req at all).
