relatively rare and desireable. rare in means that few ppl farm spots where those drop, but if in the right spot you have good chances (as discussed about the 10-xx golden scythes in "does it exist")

yeah, lvl 14 should drop q4. this one here was dropped by lvl 12 though - the low gold value gives it away.

can but only staves anymore afaik. I think they fixed all the other weaps dropping in no insc.

especially: make sure not to identify it - it has much cleaner vibe this way and people tend to like them more this way.

it still is desireable and it is prenerf - so not go too hasty selling it. it should still get 20-50a. best auction it.

one person killing all the groups getting 14 gold items?
this is no normal or that mission is much bugged and the anti farm not work there.
at least the wiki says gold items are exepmpt from loot scaling... so no surprises there?!
it is just a hell effective farm in terms of kills per time

aye that is just the core proph tribal axe that drops in blue and white rarity. I doubt it will drop in purple or gold.

manuS they are a core proph drop as well yet they only come in blue/white rarity. the gold purple ones I'd only have heard of in eotn. so Blind Was My Fury do you have a screen of one dropping?

since there is low in lvl 12 population.

yes you can death level them, but the loot stays as generated with the original level - so no benefit.

manuS I did farm the mandragor imp in mehtani keys, kinda good rate of lvl12 mobs but still so slow.
crusan yes, purple and gold are identical on their ranges of req dropped by any given mob. except purple staves those behave differently. and lvl12 is just the lowest lvl mob that can drop gold items, and has a range down to q3 for purp/gold. the lvl15 do not drop q0. on blue/white items it can go down to q3.
oh and manuS do the lvl12 mobs there even drop stuff?

insc really is underrepresented. I have been farming myself and got a q3 hammer after ages. I am still dreaming of a 11/3 gold insc tower shield. I'd love others digging for it and setting out to farm!

it is a niche market. there are barely any around, but can have their applications (two attris maxed out leaves room to get another attr to 3) so a shield might be viable in good mods and overall there is collectors for them. caster stuff and shields mostly could have applications, martial weps for collectors or maybe some SC. personally I love them

it took some time to assemble - the toughest ones were the q10-12, since I had sold/merched my duplicates before due to inventory space issues... I could have made a full q9 set or a q7/8/13 set - but it ain´t the same
you could argue one is wrong mod order - I would argue 6 are - but I will gladly live with that flaw

for insignias all armor insignias are merch - they are overriden by the vanguard bonus and as such lose their function, so no value. for war the only viable one is knights insignia, whilst for casters survivor and radiant are used. unsalvages you get them for 300-600g, so no big gains there, salvage costs 2k/use, so better check the rune/insignia value before salvaging, because you armor rune is now worth 25g, so you lost the 2k value of the salvage and the value of the blue item. runes and insignias are usually sold unsalvaged in pre and the kits sold separately since many ppl do already have their own kit and then won't pay the 2k for your use - ending in salv rune prices usually lower for the common ones.
also there are no purple armor drops in pre - just to keep the hopes low

Does it even drop anything? I’ve never seen him dropping an item and I farmed there a lot. Maybe my memory is fuzzy.
it does. a 11/3 gold equine aegis... might be possible drop after all. but gl on that

you can even go a step further and pre test them for the correct mods, so you can kind of go for an os feel on scythes and the likes. I remember having a sword (or axe) tested for 5e and longer ench 20%. I accidentally identified it and consequently hat to merch it since higher req...

tolkano has PvP weapons (red)
pre searing will drop them on the hidden stashes in white and blue rarity oldschool
weaponsmith items are blue rarity and have a fixed value plus the mentioned one has a different screen afaik, just the name matches.
so... this is not the answer.
