Slightly shameful bump...

After continuing to poke around the boards, I'm starting to believe the crude shield is simply merchant food. As far as the bow string goes, though, I haven't been able to find much relating to it. I expect only certain collectors would be interested in an otherwise effectively useless mod.

Is anyone willing/able to confirm my suspicions?

The bowstring is prenerf so it definitely has value. How much exactly though, i'm not sure. Pleikki should probably be able to give you an accurate PC for it.
Also you might be able to get a few ecto for the Crude Shield, I would'nt merch it if I were you.

The bow itself is prenerf because "+__% damage while below 50% health" mods only come in 19 or 20% on golds now.

As for the string, I was selling a 10/8 a couple months ago. Highest offer I got was 10a. Decided not to sell

I can confirm that personally I'd merch the crude, sell bowstring and bow separately (use perf salv kit) and hope for 10a/ea. only an auction will tell how much precisely however.
