Whilst looking for a decent background for something TiniWeni linked me to something I hadn't seen before. Thought was cool, couldn't find posted previously and figured might be others who would enjoy seeing. Have selected a handful of my favs but click the link to see a lot more.

Also found these that I hadn't seen and cant find posted anywhere (apologies if they are).

Anybody know what these are from? maybe a very early beta? Tell the truth I'm not even 100% sure this is guild wars despite being label as such lol

Many of the concept art images you linked are in the style of Kekai Kotaki. There's a wiki page with a lot of his work shown (and I'm sure he's got like his own site somewhere with more of it). Pretty important dude when it came to making gw look the way it does.

The bottom section of screenshots are indeed from early alpha versions of the game, and are taken from the E3 2003 demo shown here. If you look closely, you can see some "modern" skins shown in it: Colossal Scimitar, Fiery/Gladius, and a Crenellated Sword. It's a wonder why they didn't show up until years later. Hope that helps
