Level 20 Jade Brotherhood in hardmode | oldschool req8 farming

This group of Jade Brotherhood (tied to the Missing Daughter quest) has the potential to drop max req8 swords, shields and foci. And with the higher gold droprates in hardmode, this is probably one of the best spots to farm req8 items. Not to mention the skins that drop here are some of the best Cantha has to offer Diamond, Iridescent, Bladed Shield, Dusk Blade, Shinobi Blade, Katana, Broadsword, Paper fan, Paper Lantern, Jug etc.. can all drop here in max req8.
I've not had too much luck farming here my self except for a few gold q8 foci drops. But thought it was worth sharing.

Unfortunately botters have recently discovered this spot aswell.

That's a great spot! However, I've noticed that the Dervish returns to the city every 35-45 seconds while you're completing the run in 1:30 with a cupcake =). Are you certain that they are farming what you are showing?

Lol armbraces have become worthless due to thousands of bots farming doa, now it's time for q8s.

Bots take team of 8 so probably alot of speed buffs and maybe other stuff to speed it up.

It was already known & listed on the forum (click me) that we could get q8 from the quest missing daughter (wiki link to quest)
I've tried it, and even with heroes speed boosting, i can't go under 1min30s (path + wait for them to kill npcs, get ench, flag heroes out of range & kill)

(missing some q9 tact 10demons +30hp, hope they get some so i can buy them)

Could bots be using some tb-like magic to trigger the quest as soon as they are in compass range or even before that? That would cut the time significantly

you can't dialog if you are not next to the npc as far as i know

I think you leaked the spot for nothing tho, giving the fact they only spend less than a minute in the area it could just be a 1chest chestrun?

Nah there is no chest spawn nearby on this side. And hypothetically speaking if that was the case why would they exclusively be using dervishes? They're definitely botting this group of Jade Brotherhood. I've farmed here for a year or 2 now. I've checked different districts on multiple occassions and have'nt noticed any bots until recently. And it just so happens around the same time they showed up there have been an influx of q8 items with skins that primarily drop from, you guessed it, Jade Brotherhood foes.

Furthermore i've spoken to the seller of the q8 Duskblade and the Dadao Sword, and he actually admitted to it.

I would'nt have made this thread if I was'nt sure of it.

You can open chest from afar. Wouldn’t be too crazy to think it’s doable with npc.

Beside if you go in as they turn hostile and wipe most of them, no need to wait for them to re ball

But making a derv is quick. 1 day and you have a derv to farm. Also you will need a derv for lots of other stuff.

If you bring a rit/ranger you can kill the group with 1 hit (splinter + eoe)

I tried multiple splinter builds. It does'nt work because they do not die in 1 hit and enemy ritualists then heal the group. Could you share your build pls?

Also how would a necro bomber work here? contagion? soul taker/Mop ?

but since you die will you not get zero drops ?

regular vos + hero with eoe and splinter

flag hero out of range after casting. Jump in eremites attack and all are dead

Pretty sure if u die before the enemies die, you won't get any drop

Yea so bomber works with eoe but not drops
