Ender's Game currently, as your suggestion the other night ;p Just finished Percy Jackson and the Olympians series though, easy read but good story. I could list so many series x.x
my finnish friend got me a book called Moominland midwinter...so I am reading it currently
ah I love the moomins - a Swedish friend put me on to them.
Currently on Munich by Robert Harries (xmas prezzie from hubby) bee reading my way thorugh his books lately. The Cicero trilogy has amazing parallels to teh rise of Trump!
I've recently got back into reading due to travelling. I'm attempting to read J.R.R. Tolkien's, The Silmarillion. It's hard work. Looking forward to reading something a little easier once this is over!
I feel abit stupid not having read any of the above suggestions. Maybe I'll get round to it after this one.
ye The Silmarillion is hard going it wsn't intended for publication and it shows.
A while ago I finished Hilary Clinton's 'What Happened', it is really really good reading.
Atm re-reading the Millenium books by Stieg Larsson. Finished all the Harry Potter books for the gazillionth time, because 1. they're awesome and 2. I finally got round to re-buying all books since I read all my old ones to shreds. This time they are going to be kept in pristine condition!
Atm reading Speaker for the Dead and also on audio book the first Harry Potter, got the boyfriend listening with me since he has never read the books
Oooh I love Speaker for the Dead, it is easily the best of the Ender universe books.
I finished Munich, I have neber been disappointed by Robert Harries yet. I kinda felt my ignorance of the lead up to WW2 though. Now I am on Kasperov's Winter is coming. It is quite dense, gonna take me a long time I think.
since he has never read the books
Dump him
Brutal but fair Emma.
Dump him
Ahahah, he's not really a reader ;p But we're on Chamber of Secrets now! Think he will get into audio books.
As long as you can enjoy the work of author, and the reader doesnt have a boring and monotone voice i say it still enjoyable.
Moved on to another series fablehaven. (Sorry ivy)
OMgggggggggggggg please read the series I told you next! Or I will find some way to shank you >.>
Re-reading The Two Towers. It's been a couple decades or so, lol.
just finished reading the force awakens to see what the differences to the film were (and what we missed)
The Birth of Tragedy by Friedrich Nietzsche
I'm reading Dune Messiah. I prefer the first book but I hear the 4th is where it's at. We'll see...
the original Dune series is pretty good (except the 2nd one, which I think took me like 1-2 hours to read in total). I made it through all of them and most of the prequels, but think I stopped at the House series and anything that has been out in the last few years.
I am hoping to pick up a copy of the last star wars movie book--when I find it someplace reasonable.
As an arc reader. I just finished An anonymous girl and I recommend in getting it, when it goes on sale Jan. 9th.
Malazan Book of the Fallen, book 9: Dust of Dreams
