Alright I've played for a few hours today so I'll do a quick highlights update (will probably do a follow-up every other day for the future)
After grabbing the fresh drip from Jokanur Diggings I was ready to go in the first (real) mission
Then I set my sights for the first gold weapon in the game from the free chest...
Could have been worse (right ?) ^Odurra speaking straight facts
Finally arrived in Kodlonu Hamlet and now that Dunkoro is enjoying his new staff, I'm left wondering what my next course of action will be, continue on with Nightfall or check out EotN.
Find out next time

good luck, hope you make it
Might try something similar

Hey hey people, I shall bring news of my adventure
That one came from the Mehtani Keys free chest, pretty good mods that can be used later
So I decided to continue on with Nightfall after quickly grabbing Vekk / Ogden / Gwen / Olias and everything went pretty smooth sailing in Kourna, got my Command Post fully kitted out, had a very close shave with the Drought (greedy bonus) which ended up being my biggest challenge by far
There are 2 problems I'm facing currently : - money for skills
- weapons
Weapons I can't really do much about it unless I get lucky drops, the blue max weapons are completely out of my budget and don't provide significant mods unlike the ones from Factions
Money I'm slowly but surely gathering to give my goon squad better skills but I can't buy anything and everything so I'm only getting skills that I know I'll be using forever
I got lucky with identifying a piece of armor during Kodonur Crossroads mission :
After safely making it through Moddok Crevice this is what my team of baboons looks like (my BiP being my pride and joy) :
I'm basically a poor version of Rit ST providing %dmg reduction and block chance to my team while I can sit in the back and watch my health bar
The chest from Bahdok didn't land anything fruitful
The plan now : I'm looking to grab Energy Surge from Mirror of Lyss boss into Healers Boon from Resplendant Makkun and recruit Norgu
Afterwards I'll head to Factions and go through there to buy Save Yourselves, decent blue weapons for my Mesmers and getting Xandra's ST skills ready, recruit her then see what to do from there, I'm having a real hard time with damage right now so going through Vabbi and the margonites will be painful unless my plebs are decently kitted out and having a ST on the team will bring me peace of mind for my challenge
Thanks for following my adventure
See you next week

Good luck. Yeah I found paragon really underwhelming damage output wise, weakest char in gw imho . No easy stance removal a real pain. Spear wipe and ftw are good.

Be careful when you go to cap Esurge.
My run almost came to an end

Yeah the trick for me was to bring an all physical damage team so I put Koss, Melonni and MOX to work and it was easy peasy, the first try though... my team got one shotted haha

Ahoi, the news are here
I carried on with the plan, got in order Esurge from Yammiron Ether Lord, Healers Boon from Josinq the Whisperer, recruited Norgu and then bounced to Cantha
Togo enjoying his time in crispy fire aoe's during Tahnnakai Temple as he usually does The next step was to grab ST from the Ritualist boss in Sunjiang District and I got him to spawn on the second try
Now to go and grab Xandra
I've got most of my hero setup done so it's time to think about myself, on my way to unlock Save Yourselves and little did I know you actually need rank 1 in either faction to grab the skill so I present to you my 600g investment that I'm the most proud of
Did all the quests in the Jade Sea, farmed the Jade Arena for hours to have enough faction points to reach rank 1 and finally unlock the skill, then went ahead and finished my first campaign
Brother Menhlo doesn't seem to thrilled that I'm hanging around his girl The Command Shield is by far the best thing to grab for me at the end of Factions, the +5e 10%adre +30hp spear being the best one that I'll get my hands on hopefully at the end of Nightfall to complete my weapon set
This is the setup currently, Gwen and Norgu are geared with a 40/40 dom set that I had to scrape everything that I owned together to be able to afford, my next investment will be runes for everyone (myself included)
sorry for potato quality, original screen doesn't wanna upload For the future, I really wanna get my hands on some PvE skills in order to feel more useful to my team but I also want a good spear so I'm torn between finishing Nightfall (currently stationned before Sebelkeh mission) and tackling EotN
I've played a lot over the week because I found myself enjoying this challenge tremendously and I hope you enjoy catching up and reading on my little story
See you in the next one
