More ideas to keep tracking price on sells threads

  • It should be possible to view the history of past transactions, either through specific access rights or through new rules. For example, item prices should no longer disappear once a sale is closed.

Just looking at the enthusiasm for Guru’s transaction history is enough to show that there is a real need to preserve and maintain historical data. This kind of transparency helps users better understand the market and builds trust.

Out of curiosity how do you see this working?

There is no requirement to post prices that items were traded for, and as far as I know people don't go through and remove bids/offers/prices.

Threads that are closed should still be visible to read.

  • I had plenty of ideas, and tbh I did make some stuff.

But I’ll stop. Legacy is dead. Bids are fake, accounts are alts. You should close it.

Thanks for what it used to be, but we all quickly understood that Legacy no longer had the means to live up to its past reputation.

Now it’s just a place to PM someone I removed from FL because of the lack of space.

You can always leave if you aren't happy mate, a good result for the rest of us

I agree that that information is valuable and that we could do a better job exposing those things. And it's an area that I am trying to improve things with.

I don't want to pin things down/say too much right now in the case that it doesn't pan out, but thanks to a new piece of software that I am testing, a few cool things can be done here on Legacy - and I expect it can absolutely help improve things like this.

So yes, things are moving. Not always as fast as I - or anyone else - would like them to go, but I am still human after all and I have my day to day job that takes priority. In the end, Legacy isn't free for me to host (nor is that extra software) and Legacy is first and foremost a labor of love for me.
There certainly are improvements coming, I have a lot of plans to do so, so in the next few months, you'll see quite a lot of changes happening.
