Just came back to the game after about 10 years and was looking through my old green weapons. All appeared to be post-nerf except one. It's a Hukhrah's Staff that appears to be the 3rd type where it has the pre-nerf stats order but post-nerf color. I don't know exactly when it dropped but it was likely in that pre-nightfall window. I just found out pre-nerf greens were a thing but this was an amazing thread to find. Is there a market for these things or is it just a novelty? Is there a thread/list of other items besides greens, that are not currently obtainable like old festival items or bugged items?

Hi, thanks for checking out the thread! It does indeed look like your Hukhrah's is the missing version! I'd love to check it out in-game sometime and I went ahead and added you. I'm happy to double check any others as well just in case.

As for other kinds of items, for sure. The other threads in this subforum will be the biggest help, particularly the other three pinned at the top below this one. There are a few things that need updating thanks to recent changes with reforged, but the bulk of information in those threads remains true.

The wiki shows it differently, with energy+15 at the top, so I know you said this one was unlikely to have a pre-nerf version, but mine doesn't match the wiki.

I also have a TON of other greens, but most seem to match the wiki's stats. I can't really tell the visual difference even when you point it out on ones that only look different, so idk if I have any of those.

Hi! Not sure how I missed your post here, so sorry! I get what you're saying about the +15 listed on the wiki for some items. Unfortunately, the way wiki displays these isn't consistent (for various reasons). For numerous items, some entries tend to opt for simplicity rather than displaying what an item actually is. This means turning +10 energy +5 energy into +15 energy. Others that have +30hp +30hp might display on the wiki as +60hp. Now, in game, some are actually +15 or +60, but you kinda have to take what wiki shows with a grain of salt on a case-by-case basis.

I'm down to double check anything you're unsure of though. Feel free to hit me up whenever. I've got you added

Icon is easiest on that one imo. Purifier could also be prenerf (no icon change on that one though. I suggest going outside GtoB for better lighting for screenshots)

Wintersday 2007 ran from Dec 21st 2007 to Jan 3rd 2008. Note both posts being Jan 2nd.

It not having dropped yet is no indication of it being bugged, especially with a dev having specifically commented on their legitimacy. I'm inclined to side more with speed clear ele on this one, that it may not be a chest drop at all. But even if it's a chest drop...let's look at something like the non-monthly everlasting tonics from the zaishen chest. I've got the title maxed on 2 accounts and have never seen one. 40,000 openings, no drop. Does that mean they're bugged and don't drop at all? Obviously not. They're just rare.

Hey, sorry for the wait. Have been busy irl lately. At a glance, this is a mixed bag. Some prenerf, some not, some have no prenerf at all, and some I can't tell based on your image. I'll try to find you in game and we can run through them if you'd like.

Both of these are postnerf based on your images. The extra space in the stonebreaker's name is an anomaly but exists on both the pre and postnerf versions of the item and has never been retroactively corrected like other name changes.

Hey there! Those are, yes. And Milthuran's is the light version (which for that one is the rarer of its two prenerf versions). I'm good on these two atm, but thank you. I'd still suggest trying to sell them here though if you're not wanting to keep them.

It's been about 6 months since the last update but I'm happy to announce another new find! A third version of Siska's Staff was recently found. Thanks for the help! I've added the new comparison image with all 3 versions. All mesmer greens are now accounted for!

Side note: I'm aware users in the UK are now unable to see the images in this thread because they're hosted on imgur. I'm hoping to get them reuploaded another way sometime in the near(ish) future

I came looking for a thread like this after noticing some rather extreme Legacy lag for the past day or so, but then I noticed Red's initial poll was from over a week ago. I hadn't noticed any issues around that time. Currently, however, the site itself loads very slowly, and individual pages within it are slower than usual as well. I thought it might be a general internet issue for me at first but haven't had issues with others sites/apps yet.

This occurs for me using Chrome on both desktop and mobile, though on mobile it feels worse. Accessing from the US and using the default theme (the goldish one with Vizu.)

Correct. Dead, shadow and amber staves (among others) are what you'd call universal or multi-prof staves. Regardless of their attribute requirement, they can roll attribute mods for any caster profession for its HCT mod (if it has one). Compare this to something like a holy staff, which is a monk-only attribute requirement and only rolls monk attributes on its HCT mod (if it has one). A prenerf holy staff might roll an ele, mesmer, or necro inherent mod though.

That's not to say universal staves can't be prenerf for other reasons though. This just explains why yours aren't.

From what you've listed here, spiriteater, inallay's hornbow, the scar eater have a prenerf version. Wroth's holy rod and hukhrah's staff do as well, but the ones shown are postnerf. None of the others do or should, but I'd like to check out Ahvha's in game in the off chance something is different about it, assuming you've had it for quite some time, and would be very interested in inallay's if prenerf.

Also, it looks like you forgot to add falaharn's split chakrams (or maybe split chakrams of the forgotten?) in the background of one of your images. Falaharn's has a prenerf version as well.

The rest of the greens shown would probably run between 1-10e or so if you can find someone interested.
