Ruin of Holding update for pre players 10BD from merch or a separate NPC would seem fair?
Kinda sucks Pre always gets the shaft on Holiday things except for the drops.
I've been after Anet to allow Vanguard drops back in pre. They are non max & just abit higher dmg than pre drops.
Either would be Epic for the faithful players of Pre-Searing
rune of holding in pre definitely gets a +1 from me - 10bd would be something, could even cost more.
On the vanguard part I'd vote for removing the quests altogether - only real men could get lvl 20 in pre back in the day. The loot would destroy pre market altogether - anything that's worth something today would be common crap by tomorrow. At lvl 18 the bosses would easily drop max q8 stuff, 20% charrslaying or the likes. We are in pre. It was good as it was introduced - vanguard, guildhallbug, drop from vanguard ruined it a lot. The added kits were an improvement just like the charr bags imho. But the vanguard was the end of the old pre.
And this update is sweet! Even though I'd have liked something else than more zcoins to get you the deal - something you'd have to discover. But the added space is very welcome - my tower shields got a little claustrophobic

nonmax q7 aren't rare or really special. You can easily merch this one.

from lvl20 chests (canthan, elonian, kournan) prples are roughly 5times more common than golds. From farming they are rarer than golds. They are however much less sought after. This makes them pretty worthless compared to their gold version. Os singlemod ones are worth a bit to collectors (@AgentChevy) but else than that rather useless. You can get few ecto for yours.

This is prenerf: storm bow, highreq, goldvalue not dividable by 5 - won't be collector.
The zeal inherent makes it very prenerfyy unique and desireable - plus a sweet skin! It must have hidden well somewhere on your acc for all those years.
I bet some certain collectors would be very interested in this piece even though it is customized (just in case you were clueless considering what to do with it)

Staves q8 11-21 gold cannot drop from HM chests (except in starter areas - ascalon, shing jea, istan) - the ones that are odd are the purple staves. Indeed 20% HSR for q8s is only possible in purple and those do in fact drop from NM and HM chests alike. So two points were off chevy
Regarding the question if ghostly staves do exist gold: yes

ascalon foothills is not the worst regarding luck - 1 chest 45sec or so. Use an alt acc that stays at the portal and zones once the chest is open. Make sure you keep any q0 max dmg 14^50 items for me
(max is 9-13 bow, 8-10 sword, 6-12 axe, 11-15 hammer)
If you rather want chances for max items (even though few will be gold) try canthan chests (pongmei), kournan chests (barbarous shore), elonian chests (vulture drift), maguuma chest (reed bog) - the latter are lvl 17 though - so even fewer max and fewer gold items there - but higher luck gain per time and per lockpick.

those are not the hottest ones or rarest ones either - I have several and sold several - in the regions of 15e. Little more or less with interest.

tbh with worms I didn't fave severe problems. Use ranged weps on all henchies, play like melee yourself - aggro mobs and pull around corners. Run in with speed skill for a kd once that ends, manually activate elite on henchies - everything should be dead. If not try running away for deaggro, so they run back to original location. They will be out of reach to resurrect any dead allies. Then either wait for bodies to decompose or run straight in and kill.

I've had 4 of them and sold them 3-5a each to friends - I guess you can get more. There was a bid war for one while I had mine up for sale as well and it went for 60a - ye... I'd say around 10a is reasonable and fair

+10vs demon with a useful second mod on such ar/req would be very valueable - but +9ar and a crappy nonmax sec. mod make it almost worthless. I´d be tempted to merch it even though it´d hurt so I´d probably end up stucking it on a hench

- (triplemod - in fact you could split this up in categories like the dualmods leading to another 6 categories, but since there is only one such triplemod defender in known existence it wouldn´t be helpful at all. The six categories would be: 1. DMG-reduction + Attribute + Health, 2. DMG-reduction +Condition + Health, 3. DMG-reduction +Armor + Health, 4. Armor + Attribute + Health, 5. Armor + Condition + Health, 6. Condition + Attribute + Health. That is due to the fact, that only a Health mod can be a shield handle and that combinations of Health mod + Health inherent were impossible)
The categories themselves contain 3 (Dualreduction) to 288 (Armor + Attribute) shields, which sums to a total of 915 shields. You might add singlemod as a 12th category, cleans as a 13th and triplemods as 14th - or even split that 14th into categories 14-19 - if you want - at least I collect them as well
I do have at least one of each category by now (except triplemod if you count them in). So to answer your question:
