How did Guild Wars treat you today?

Ran a few chests in Undercity NM and got this.

I was pretty excited,

doubly so after Agent Chevy reminded me that 18%hsr is the max on golds, only purps go to 20%

Over past few months i've been chest running in pongmei valley slowly once again..

Here some data from 2000 chests i ran there prettmuch straight, for anyone intrested in q8 drops or starting hunt for them

2000 Chests, Dropped total 14 q8 offhands, from which 3 were gold, 0 q8 shields or swords.

so 0.7% drops were max q8s.

For swords, shields and offhands total from all drops, drop rates were:

4.1% swords, 4% shields, 13.2% Offhands

Next i will try some undercity

classic gw treats for me today: running chests for q8s... first up q8 gold foc - too bad it was 11e - but I stuck to it... few chests later q8 shield - WOOOT! too bad it's a skull shield... and purple... and 15ar -.-

But in the end after 3h I got my max q8 item... a purple healing ankh 5ar while attacking - well thanks!

Finally after ages - and I really mean that - I got one of the best shields out there.

First I spotted it in 2007 on Wartower (yes this is the original thread I linked - go ahead klick it! (sadly the pic is broke))

EDIT: Fixed the link - it pointed just to the screen - classic copy paste error - thanks Pleikki for pointing it out :> *END EDIT

From there I tried to track it for quite some time until I saw it in System Fans hands.

Long story short it ended up with Pleikki and now with me (It might be stuck here for an eternity and a bit however)

GW treated me to the 36th item I've bid on being sold without even a message to ask if I wanted to match or outbid them. How can we outbid the shitters if we don't know? Your probably losing out like idiots. I've had it, makes me not even want to even bother offering you people my ectos on your shitty items.

I have to say on the incident, if you want items, bid like you want them, nothing more annoying then ppl lowballing and then complaining cus items were sold ingame.. If u get good offer (ingame) of course you take it without asking other ppls about it.. especially when ppl showd zero intrest on buying it with only lowballing and not even pming directly to seller..

Amazed i was able to find the matching mods for this staff so quickly, usually finding some specific odd mods take months if ever find them (searched some years allready..)

So here it is! one of the coolest odd staffs i got for sure! Modded how it should xD
