Only saw Glacial Blades (Daggers) and was wondering if it even drops....

yea I can do the same about hourglass staff and stand in Kamadan you know?
Pretty sure since noone got one so far its because its coming from a dungeon end chest.

Idk it makes no sense, why would he only add the glacial blade to a dungeon chest and all others are random drops.

Can confirm these are real. A fellow player showed me 2x q10 and 1x q12 that they have managed to get so far. They too are trying to keep it a secret till they become common weapons

If that's the case, then it doesn't have a different drop rate. Its just very specific to a certain area, where it Drops. Once found out, this will be like the hourglass. Not sure why anet would do this only with the Glacial Blade, but maybe there is more into this.

Well for the drop rate part I’m not sure, as a good example of the years I’ve only ever had one gold OS spiked club after well over 1000 hours of target farming for them yet others have had multiple. Same goes for magmas shields though which I have dropped 30-40 dual mods yet others have had 1-5.
I believe your correct though once it’s common knowledge it will become a 200a item then 100a and keep halving rather quickly from there
But for now grats to those who have figured it out and are playing the market by keeping it a secret -

Ciao, since people refuse to share their spot:
For warrior norn farm you can check the Kvedluv and the wolves and the bison (aurochs)thingies. All can be farmed exiting from The first ebbon outpost (longeye I believe)
Use a vos derv, agro and right wall block, spike and repeat. They all drop martial, esp swords. I tried two runs only and had 3 etched swords drop..
You can also farm Drakkar Lake, ice elementals also drop martial weapons. Same tactic, VoS does it.

With many people doing vanquish i dont think this sword drop in the open world. I am thinking dungeons like the Arced blade.
Also likely a unique mob to a specific dungeon that cannot be found in others.

Why Ravens and not Dragimmar? The Quest of Dragimmar is even related to forging Aka Anvil and it is way more glacial themed
