Will we be seeing a possibly new pvp release with reforged?? My fingers are crossed for Team arenas and hero battles! I wonder why this is getting an update..

I noticed this too on the gw store and am very excited as to what it might be. The only thing that wouldn’t be exciting is if the reforged $20 game doesn’t include the PvP areas outside of embark and it’s a $5-$10 add on.

It looks more likely that they're removing it from sale, and just haven't got the right options setup for that on the store page yet.
Perhaps with Reforged it will include the PvP Access Kit by default giving players instant access to PvP but also access to PvE.
One of the things ArenaNet are trying to do is steamline the experience for new players these days and not have all sorts of different products for sale.

They likely removed it as a purchase option going forward as it hasn't really made sense for like a decade. Its possible old pvp accounts will also be upgraded to full products with the update.
