I have received mixed emotions on this axe that makes me wonder what this tough crowd (respectively) thinks about this Q8 Insc Dwarven Axe with 6-26 Dmg (I realize it's one off of the max for Q8 Insc axe).

Certainly it's the max for a r8 axe that can drop today, but it has absolutely no market value. R8 doesn't automatically mean valuable, and it not being 6-28 means it's not old, and can still drop. Only OS gold dwarven axes have any value. Inscribable Dwarven axes are never valuable.
I'm with max on this one, I don't see the market for this axe. It's non max damage. If OP wants to take days or weeks to sell it for a few ecto, that's OP's decision. But it's probably not worth the time.

How can you be sure there is absolutely no market value for this item? I mean yes it's not max dmg, but consider it's q8 gold, it's still has some value to it even if it's not max dmg.
I would put it on the wts section and let ppl bid, pretty sure ppl will bid.
ps. max you dont need to get all hostile, it was his opinion, same as yours to merch it.

Sounds like OP should list it for sale and see what happens.

One can never be sure that someone won't want it, and perhaps market value was the wrong choice of words... read desirability instead then. Anyone who wants it has no appreciation for the finer things, and likes junk, but that's up to any prospective buyer.
It does have novelty value however, and we all know how Ikki loves a novelty.

It's really a perfect example of an item that's best sold to someone with more money than experience, knowledge, or wisdom. That in itself can be fun, just for the sport of it, but success is inevitable. The ecto you get for this isn't an indication of the item's value...just the buyer's stupidity.
