• Besides ID'ing it how would one tell if this is going to be inscribable or old school - drop information is not available.

My understanding is this shield can drop in UW (entered from ToA) and TotPK as old school and in DOA as inscribable? Perhaps UW entered through Chantry would also produce inscribable versions in NM monster level 16-20?

Changed the title of the thread from “Q8 AR 18 Blue Eternal” to “Q8 AR 16 Blue Eternal”.
  • Items that are unid can be tested. Supposedly, inherent +AL vs x are weaker than their inscriptions (non-os) that are identical, so you could test vs clean shield, vs insc shield with various insc, and yours to see if something matches. This is really tedious.

You can also salvage mods from unid items - this works with expert and superior salvage kits but not sure if it does with perfect kits. If you pull out some unid mods and see that the shield goes white, then it did not have an insc/inherent insc. Using an expert/sup salvage kit to salvage unid mods can break the item just a heads up
