we can take another example for example eve online the population are show on this website https://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility you can see on the website the population is 27k now if we look on the 2 other website ( https://mmo-population.com/r/eve/ , https://mmostats.com/game/eve-online) we can see they said 160k-250k on the first and second website. So someone explain to me how they can found different numbers than official number?

When the same site was mentioned in Reddit in May 2020 it has more explanation about where the data was from and I wrote this. Turns out it uses Reddit subreddit data to make up the stats on the site.

It is really frustrating when innacurate data is attempted to be passed off as facts. This site is not transparent at all.

Someone shared this in Discord the other day (10th April) and the site had a slightly different design and it was easier to find their calculation for estimating MMO numbers.

This is a quote from the site previous to the redesign:

Now their 'Data' page just says they use "sentiment analysis" from an AI... whatever that means. If someone could actually find out how they get their figures that would be great. The fact the url still uses the /r/ guildwars url leads me to believe it is still using Reddit data.

Before the site was just pulling Reddit data analytics and showed how popular a games subreddit was, not the game.

There is no way that any of the numbers on the GuildWars page are accurate.

Anet/NCSoft has never published user number for GuildWars. The only official numbers come from sales of the game.

MMOStats also doesn't publish where it gets it's data from to make up these numbers. So to pass them off as even possible accurate data is incredibly misleading.

Thanks for the feedback. The reason I made this vid was to try to give an estimation, didn't know these websites were as inaccurate as you guys described - my apologies. I hoped sharing data from 2 sources would be enough, gonna try to contact support, maybe they'll give a more precise data, i can only hope

Hi everyone! I've tried to cover this topic as much as I could, plenty of builds in this vid. 8man, 6man, 4man groups, then builds for the mandatory heroes(Koss, Melonni etc) and some meta player builds at the end. Hope you find some new ones.

One thing though to increase the drop ratio, open as many sessions/accounts with the multilauncher and leave the characters afk while farming those enemies at the gate.

I've also thought about that, but changed my mind meanwhile. Felt like doing it with only 1 acc was a more legit way.

Hey! This farm might be a serious candidate for the best solo farm in the game. A LOT of oldschool gold items, ministerial commendations, all 10 regular tomes, black dyes, lockpicks too. Any profession can do it with warrior secondary. The farm takes roughly 3 mins. Need a quest called, A Chance Encounter(18th quest in the WoC questline ~2 hours of questing), take heroes with you, clear the first group, then run to the spot, where you can bodyblock foes. Wait a bit and spike with 100b. Easy and very profitable. Check out the vid for more infos! Good luck guys!

Hello guys. This is a great way to farm elite tomes. A quest named, The path to revelations spawns 6 bosses one after another. With an sos rit you can farm the first 5 bosses relatively easily, meaning here your chances for elite tomes are better than at single boss farms. Good luck!

Hello guys, I made a step by step guide for beginners about the raptor farm. I always felt like people chose vaettirs because they struggle at raptors, maybe watching this will encourage some of you to give it another try. The anniversary starts soon, good luck and have fun!

Start from Sifhalla and find Kilroy( he may not always spawn) on the top of the hill, bring a build which is able to kill foes on its own, because to get the green you'll need to deal with the silver vaettir on your own, or use summoning stones like I did. As far as we know, it requires favor of the gods, a cupcake, being solo, lucky aura( lunar fortune) plus light of deldrimor. These will spawn a silver vaettir(it has mesmer skills). Kill it and a green sword, named Silver Edge will appear.
