NM chests have dropped bonus items skins, namely in: Southern Shiverpeaks, Realm of Torment, and Depths of Tyria. (No NM chest drops were reported in Factions so far.) On the other hand, HM chests seem to drop new items in all areas.
PVP skins have a different drop pattern than bonus item skins, as they seem more regional. It's interesting that Etched was found in a dungeon. All previous reports of Etched were in Norn areas. Perhaps dungeons in the area are also considered a Norn area in some way? Need more data to find out.

100+ golds from Corsairs in Moddok HM, nothing new. They drop a lot of armor though, not sure if that would affect the drop rate.

It might be possible that low req can drop from low level foes in "high level areas". Someone correct me if I'm wrong but for enemies that can be seen wielding weapons, the only golds they can drop are those weapons? It could be possible that in proph/fac/nf these foes can't drop the new items because they weren't implemented in this context due to technical issues or simply laziness, since only eotn drops the new items in non-gold quality. This would explain why Slave spirits don't drop anything new even though they're in a high-level area.
Edit: nvm this seems unlikely given that Dragon mosses don't seem to drop anything... I really don't know at this point. That lone Rock beetle seems to be an anomaly.
Edit2: for some reason I thought Mosses were lvl 20 so the above might still be possible. Still, the fact Mosses don't seem to drop anything is odd on its own.

More I farm, and more I guess when you farm a quest like "the halcyon job", "a new escort", the Undeads in désolation etc etc are still on the same loot table.
I farmed many of those quests, many many runs and I never had a single new skin (except from chests in the areas).
WoC works differently for sure, dunno why that's the only farmable quest which drop new skins.
Is anyone else can confirm that, or the opposite maybe?
I don't have any other farmable quest in mind, and I also tried "protect the halcyon" and still new skins (but it's the quest I tried the less).

WoC may be the exception because it's supposed to be hard (even though the quest that's farmed is bugged so it's relatively easy to farm). Still, I don't see any general rule regarding the new drops yet. It just feels like they smashed their head against the keyboard when making drop tables.

I don't think you should add Moddok Corsairs to the locations with no drops. I only got about 20 gold weapons there because they drop so much armor for some reason. We probably need a larger sample.

I think I'm missing something with my VoS build then. Since I'm not getting a fatal spike, then getting creamed a couple seconds after.

You need to run pcons for Mirage cloak to last. Since Minotaurs cause weakness you need to 18 Earth prayers (corn+ egg) and at that point you should be pretty comfy
Of ofc you drop a skill for a more defensive option like extend enchantments or sanctity for more survivability but slower clears -

I've put quite a few hours into killing the angry cows outside Olafstead as well, am up probably a couple hundred gold drops there (and possibly into double digits of hourglasses at this point) but no sign of darksteel or glacial anything.
FWIW I found a setup that doesn't need pcons and that blows up Asterius as well if he spawns close enough to keep aggro. Not sure how sharing this stuff goes and whether it's just asking for bots to jump on it, though.

Gave the farming a rest to play a solo character a bit more, and this character's first new drop was from a Level 22 Dune Burrower in The Scar, NM.
It is q9 SR and has only 19% inherent HSR.
Anyways, this one has an unidentified value of 43g.
Not entirely sure what that means, but maybe Red would like to know

There is also Johon Oxflinger outside EotN which is a norn boss and probably much easier/faster to farm rather than Avarr in the back corner.

Johon Oxflinger is a ranger boss and i farmed him extensively and he only dropped greater etched sword.
