nice idea,
yes we need a blacklist for scammers and as i said something needs to be done with blocking the free vpn browser addons if it's possible with "i'm not a robot" checks so ppl stop using double accs.
edit: a good idea if ppl don't want a blacklist is to make a whitelist and ppl vouche for other sellers/buyers if they made a trade, some sort of ranking system.

I really shouldn’t have to say it, but flaming is not allowed. vivaespana , consider this a warning. I deleted your post. Keep it civil folks or you’ll get a ban.

Need to have the never ending debate of what constitutes a scam first

Enough.
This thread is about whether we need a blacklist for scammers, not a free-for-all to throw mud at each other.
The next one to continue this mud-slinging gets a week off for flaming.
You have all been warned.

I think such a list would be more problematic than helpful. Do you just take one person's word that someone is a scammer without the named person being able to have a side to the story? How do you trust the users that are posting to be accurate without verification?
I do agree that it is bad that some people try to get one over others in the game through scamming them from trades and what not. I get that a list of names could be helpful but in reality (as we've probably seen in this thread) it just becomes a way for a user to flame another.
If someone is trying to pull a fast one over you in trade then don't trade with them, by all means tell your friends/guild to keep an eye out, but I don't think publically naming people is a positive thing. It will probably just result in more antagonistic messages and drama than anyone really needs these days. -
what can i say guys i understand as moderators you need to keep the site in order, we have rules etc, ofc it's not good all the drama that is happening but the evidence speak themselves and it's beyong me that there is no action, the black list will scare some of this ppl and thats a good thing.
edit: no action is like accepting an rm trader, thats my conclusion i'm sorry.

1. We are not the Guildwars police.
2. We cannot take action here for something that happens in game.
3. This is why we can’t run a blacklist for scammers. This thread has shown why it can’t work.
Sorry Moon, but no good will come of allowing it to stay open.
