THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY BUYING POST
AND THANK YOU ALL SO FAR FOR THE WONDERFUL ADDITIONS TO MY COLLECTION
This post begins with a story. One day while fighting my way through a group of well armed White Mantle in the Maguuma Jungle I came across a rather unusual find. A stunning piece of craftsmanship, a heirloom of a noble family. Survivor Knights Armor of Vitai.
It was a truly worthy trophy from my time there so into the bag of holding it went. After receiving a tip that the good traveler was collecting Jade Bracelets in June I traveled to Cantha to see what I could gather from the scum. After many fell to my spirits I uncovered another great find, a humble Radiant Jade Brotherhood Armguard of Attunement. And with that click of my identification kit I was hooked. I wanted to start collecting Unsalvaged Armor drops from worthy foes or found stashed away hidden and scattered across the land in various coffers.
**UPDATE TO COLLECTION**
Thank you all for the amazing armors you have found for me in the last few months, my collection has grown from a few drops that I kept simply because they made me smile to a full blown collection. I have met many wonderful players throughout this journey and hope to meet many more of you!
With that said I have decided on how I want to shape this collection. I want to collect a class thematic salvage drop from every enemy in the Guild Wars Bestiary. What I mean by that is, when visiting the Guild Wars Wiki Page "https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Category:Salvage_items" there is a list of every Salvage Item in the game, when you click the salvage item the wiki shows what enemies will drop it and then clicking the enemy will show their skill bar.
-For example the first salvage drop is "Abbots Robes" which is dropped by a variety of White Mantle Monks which use Protection or Healing magic. Below I list my proffered insignia/rune set, For monks I would want Healing/Protection/Blessed.
I have a long, long way to go on this new goal, but hopefully many more years of time to obtain them.
-Some are obviously more difficult to obtain then others, such as a Ghoul's Collar only coming from Grasping Ghouls and only using Tactic and would me more valuable to me accordingly
**Below is a hyperlinked list of every Salvage Item in Guild Wars**
-I will work to add my prefered Runeset next to each Salvage Item and Cross out what I have already got so everyone can see what is still needed.
I am still collecting salvage drops of any rarity, blues in particular are dear to me since they only can be obtained through combat.
I am still collecting unmatched salvage drops that are thematic (like Pyrebound Charr Armor of Axe Mastery) (or Tormentors Justicular Armor of Sword/Strength)
I know that this adds a bit more to checking to see if I would want an item, so I can always check if you message me the item or post a image, though I imagine the Wiki is quicker in both cases
**Preferred Insignia/Profession**
- Warrior (Hammer Mastery/Stonefist, Absorption/Knights, Weapon Mastery/Sentinels/Lieutenants/thematic)
- Ranger (Any Rune/Scouts, Expertise/XXXXXbound/Scout's thematic to enemy)
- Elementalist (Matching Air/Aeromancer, Fire/Pyromancer, Earth/Geomancer, Water/Hydromancer, E-Storage/Prismatic)
- Monk (Any/Blessed - or Divine Favor/Wanderer, Smite/Anchorite)
- Mesmer (Any/Prodigy, Fastcast/Artificers,
- Necromancer (Death/Minion Masters/Bloodstained, Blood/Bloodstained, Curses/Blighters/Tormentors, Soul Reaping/Undertakers)
- Assassin (Critical Strikes/Infiltrators/Saboteurs/Nightstalkers, Dagger Mastery/Nightstalker, Deadly Arts/NIghtstalker, Shadow Arts/Nightstalkers/Blessed)
- Ritualist (Any/Shamans, Restoration/Ghostforge
- Dervish (Any/Windwalker, Any/Forsaken
- Paragon (Any/Centurion)
Even though there is no way to prove the drop came from an enemy mob if you do happen to get one through conquest I would love to hear the story!
I WILL ALSO BUY UNIDENTIFIED SALVAGE ITEM (ARMOR) DROPS FOR 1k/e
- Not going to lie guys, I LOVE to identity gold items in this game. Bring me your loveleys. Should I identify a rune set of value to my collection I will compensate you more as if you had brought me the item.
Now for what I REALLY AM LOOKING FOR
-The grail, the ultimate find would be Superior Etherial Garment of Superior Vigor, as this would be the relic of an ancient combat veteran. A true hero of the mists. I would pay a bounty of 100e for this one of a kind item. (once I sell some things to make some more money )
