Today GW gods smiled at me. 😊 This story could fits into the "noob mistakes" thread. Some time ago I got Q9 Chrysocola staff. And even if I did a bit of research and searched for prices. for some reason I didn't see anytihng concrete. And so I sold it in Kamadan for 5e. Only later I found out that Q9 can be 100e or more.
Oh well, won't be the first mistake and probably not the last. 😅 But I was hoping to get the staff again and this time not to make the same mistake again. 😋 So today Prismatic Ooze was the last ZB I wanted to do before the end of ZB bonus. And I got 2 of those. 😀 They are not Q9, and the attribute isn't ideal, but I probably will be able to sell them anyway.

Most likely like everyone else on this site, spending days trying to buy pre nerf stuff for pennys to returning players in kamadan and then sell it for 10 times the price on legacy

Hey you know what, why don’t you try to spam kamadan and come with pre nerf stuff to me? I’ll happily pay you 10 times the price.
Spoiler alert; you’ll be met with people asking 10 times the price for shitty items rather than having someone actually come with anything worthwhile, let alone the bargain you’re describing.
Stuff like these were rare back in the day too, anyone that had items like these were probably a collector/flipper themselves, and I’ll tell ya, there were multiple trading forums back in the day compared to the single forum we have now. So anyone that actually return to this game with rare items like these in their inventory know better than to sell them to the first whisp in kamadan.
And the 1 in 1000 that does? They don’t care enough in the first place

When those items were worth 100k+xx ecto back in the days, its still a fraction of what it is worth today so they dont often know the exact price > just look at the price check section of this site you'll see how clueless people are.
Those guys spend hooours everyday, how else can they get "ready to sell" weekly supply of new q8/pre nerf items if that isnt how they do it ? (considering you can see those people in kama trade chat with the classic "wtb any os item" or "wtb any q7/q8 item").
Even if you may not like it, those items mainly come from that process

Fact is, its exactly what happens for people selling most of their Q8's here ... This or they pm their old acquaintances to steal off their stuff as they dont play anymore to resell it there and grow their xunlai storage pane with weapons they don't even need

I don’t like to moralise, because if we are going to go that way, you might as well be amoral yourself considering you bought that air zodiac from the guy that pricechecked it here. I remember you telling him to put it for sale but it never did go up to sale.
Are you telling me you didn’t PM him to buy it?
If you’re siding with the people getting “ripped off” you yourself should’ve insisted that the guy post it for sale so he would’ve been able to get the most out of it.
But then you would’ve ran the risk of getting outbid wouldn’t you?
