If you want to transfer it from one account to another. Otherwise, just delete the “test” character and create a new one on the same account. You have 24 hours, during which time no other player can steal your reserved name. This option is stackable*

Ive heard rumors or this due to a suspension because of a inappropriate character name. But there is still no clarity if that is the case or it is due to a glitch. Did you make any inappropriate names?

I personally had a small heart attack when I logged out of one of my characters and my necro was completely missing from my character screen, but it was fixed after logging out and back in

It does end earlier if you fill the empty character slot back but I've heard many people say different things about exactly how early

To clarify the matter and be able to help someone who is still in the same situation:
i got a suspension for my character Jesucristo (Jesuschrist xD) The GM told me I'll change my name the next time I log in, but since I can't, I've already reported the problem so it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

Well, to my surprise, and despite GM Pyriel writing to me that I could change my name the next time I logged in, the most excellent, unparalleled, and exceptional GM VORPAL PHANTASM has decided to permanently close my account, without explanation, without giving me any option.
I'm not currently at home; I'm recovering from an amputation I had while working. But I'll go home this week and get my Guild Wars cards. I'll shove them in your face if I have to, PHANTOM
thats the new reforged staff, The last time I had to resolve account issues, it was a pleasure talking to the team; they helped me with everything. But I see that the new management seems to be taking a different approach.
I've read the naming rules in both English and Spanish, and "Jesucristo" doesn't violate any naming rules, so they don't care.okay
I'm going to be patient. I'm going to use every means I can to get my account reactivated. If they don't respond to me privately this week, I plan to spam Legacy and every forum I can with private messages from this NEW, GREAT, AND DIPLOMATIC STAFF.
I hope they don't even think I'm going to spend a single cent on anything related to GW Reforge or anything like that if my account isn't reactivated.

there are blacklisted names that you can't use though, so if its not among them, a ban is maximally scummy

Well I'm guessing they never bothered to update their blacklist before doing a huge drop like this. I don't think the spanish name for Jesus Christ would be high on that list, but it does constitute a reference to a religious figure no matter what. Regardless, a permanent ban for it is kinda crazy. I don't think I've personally heard of anybody receiving a permanent ban for a name. In fact, I know someone who had to name change 3 times in the last 3 months and has only gotten a couple days each time.

A temp ban makes sense, but like a day maybe max lmao. Actually insane they didn't even just ChatGPT a bunch of offensive names and add them to their blacklist though.
I've been banned before, and then unbanned. At Anet, it all depends on who's handling your case, it's black or white... But above all, it's a crappy service. Anet has poor communication, both internally and externally.

I made the mistake of mentioning that I didn't have my original email address, since years ago when I changed my phone number, I changed it everywhere except my email. That's why I lost my first Legacy account too >,<). They haven't mentioned anything about this, but it wasn't a problem in the past because I haven't changed my bank account, and even if I had, my personal information would be the same. I still have my GW Factions and Gwen cards and boxes. In the past, a few simple questions and checks were enough, and I don't know what bothers me more: that the ban is because of my name or that they're suspicious of me and won't give me a chance to prove myself. Basically, the security of my account has depended on my smartphone for years, and in the end,wasn't hackers who stole it from me, it was the politicians hahaha laught to dont cry

Yeah I've only seen temp bans, ranging from a few days to only like a few hours.
