2025 New Items Drop Locations

Some new dye information:

Black Hawk's Lust: Dyeable, but showed no difference

Censor's Icon: Dyable, whole item (same as the pre-order one: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Censor%27s_Icon)

I wonder if all profession-specific skins can drop mods from all professions if OS. The Death's Head I posted was req SR but had HSR Illusion magic.

At least shows that Dragon's Envy can drop Communing and not just primary attributes (first post is maybe suggestive of that)

Storm Ember also drops in Fire req.
Dropped OS Fire in pongmei for me.

Someone opened like 500 z chests and didn't get a single new drop. Doesn't mean they can't drop there but it doesn't seem hopeful.

1. The Z chest does not include all the weapons from all the campaigns, but the so-called core weapons and an additional specific selection. And they're all available in writable versions in the game, with the exception of a few requirements available in green in the NF and EOTN campaigns.

2. Some players have opened the Z-chest many times without getting any of the new skins offered by the update.

We shall see if someone gets a drop there but I think it is worth mentioning that a lot of JQ bots have been banned (thankfully) and that has made the Z key prices skyrocket. This definitely decreases the number of people opening z keys but only time will tell. Maybe they are excruciatingly rare like getting an eternal blade drop?

That is a fair point, maybe not all of them drop or you have to roll a specific drop table to get one of 48? Anyways, only time will tell, good questions to ask though!

agreed, i see q9's holding some value long term but the others wont be sought after, especially since anyone can chest run boreal and get them

Have we even seen any Glacial Blade drops yet? The sword, not the daggers? I don't see any advertised on Kamadan trade chat, nor here on legacy.

I'm probably seeing patterns where there aren't any, but...

I must be somewhere around 10 or so weapons (all promo drop-anywhere type, none of the NF preorders) from NM afk mallyx now, and I think every single one has been some kind of Me/N/Rt/Mo item (listed most common to rare).

Incidentally, these are the professions in my party for the setup I'm using.

I think I need to start keeping proper data.

Ramon told me got one q9... but didnt catch him yet ingame. Might be able to check later. Could be still from his anet times contact to devs and some knowledge we dont have.

Thought this was interesting, since we need accurate drop research to understand if Q8 is possible:

This is the first NM drop I have seen OUTSIDE EOTN. Got this in Barbarous Shore NM, although unfortunately the mob is level 22 so does not help confirm if the shields etc could drop req8.

I've had this in the fire islands. Not sure it's been posted that it drops there yet.
