I can confirm that TongTong is in fact a bot. Rumour has it he still has a bot army farming gold outside of Granite Citadel which he then sells on chinese gold selling sites. This entirely funds his lavish criminal lockpicking lifestyle.

That's indeed odd because even the bonus item does fire damage.
Rit attributes the dmg is normally one of the four elemental types.
