I love this one!

I decided to try the SWS build for hammer, and wanted to use Desolation maul. I also wanted to get a more exotic armor that would fit the Desolation feel. To be honest, Ancient armor wasn't even on my radar before, because I don't really like Egyptian motifs. But mixing it with Gladiator leggings proved to be intertesting enough! They even have similar design elements, go figure. 😁

I'll contribute with my 4 favourite and less known armor mix I've come up with.
My mesmer, love that white mix with the tights on the arms and on the legs. She can also be such a witch when she wears her black kit.My main back in time, my love, my Monk.
I do live for my para and dervish mix as well. Nothing extraordinary as it is obsidian with one different piece but I've never faced those in game yet.
The first look of my derv is my favourite. I also like a lot the second and third one, can't really decide...
-
You know. I think thats perhaps the best monk combo armor I have seen for female monks. Care to share the mix armor? Even tho legs are some kind of tatto.

legs is lab, looks like purp/pink/silver mix
Also, my monk is a fan of the woven flappyhands.
-
The skirt cant be woven though.
Besides having always lowed fow armor on my monk that armor combo looks really good.

i didn't say the skirt was woven "legs is lab" as in the legs are Labyrinthine.
The pictured monk has this legs and feet as emma said, and i agreed, it's just dyed pink/purp/silver(2x maybe)
i said i like the woven hand armor too, because my monk also has flappy hands.
As seen here
It's them...

This is correct. GW only has 5 armor pieces. Skirt = legs. I have had laberinthine legs and boots for over a decade on my monk.

I've been playing my new Elementalist full on for about 2 weeks now. A variation on ironman in that I'm not accessing storage so the character is self contained from the rest of the account. Farmed a few GotTs and bought some nice armor and dye, but nearly everything else has been farmed or dropped.
Meet, Eve.

You could also say. Great set and very themed 🙂👍

Got super tired of the same old sets and combinations so I went out of my way to make something brand new.
Elite Lux top, Elite Templar hands, Eaglecrest legs, Elite kurzick boots, WITH
gloom shield and victos battle axe.
The one below is Eaglecrest top, Elite Templar Legs, Eaglecrest boots, Elite Luxon Hands and Elite Platemail head. It also looks good with a norn woad for head.
Last original combination is the Cutthroat look (could look better with different equipment tho)
Elite Templar top, EagleCrest hands, Monument Legs, Norn Boots with Deldrimor Knives equipped

I really like it! It fits really nicely together, maybe the chestpiece not as much, but still a great and original combo!

WHats that helmet?

at costumes... can you display just the head piece then as it seems? can you select any part of it to show (like just armpiece)?

No only head piece and the rest

All costumes saled are in 2 parts that can be displayed separately and individually.
To clarify, this corresponds to the 2 slots provided for this purpose in the inventory->

Thank you Emma. The combinations weren't as difficult to invent as much as it was difficult to make them look half decent with a uniform dye. All pieces have different fabric properties as per the game's then-hi quality graphics and all pieces pretty much their own dye combination. It did test my patience I have to say.
