    Hi,

    since yesterday I have big trouble loading legacy. pages take anywhere between 5s to 3min with a mean of 15s - or fail to load at all. before it was normal. I did a speed test, doesn't seem to be an issue on my side. also other pages load fast as usual.

    is there just too much traffic or is anything down/has been moved?

    hope you can help or potentially find an issue - maybe others can react to the poll to get a broader feedback.

    im not having the big loading times right now, but a few days ago and after the server move i had them for a brief period.

    Hey all,

    I can't put a precise moment on it yet, but in the coming hours/days, Guild Wars Legacy will be down for a few hours for a server migration (yes, again).

    This is the big one. Legacy is moving to a way beefier server and several other servers will be merged to this single server (hello, archive servers!).

    I'll keep you up to date, but if you can't access Guild Wars Legacy for a while, this is the reason.

    A slower reaction, but I haven't been notified by the monitoring tools that the speed of Legacy has changed.

    This is the monitor of the last 30 days on my monitoring tool Gatus:

    And this is the last 30 days measured by OhDear:

    Finally, the server monitoring itself also didn't mention anything strange, we didn't even get past 4.1% of the CPU load.


    So I don't really see a reason why Legacy would have performance issues. However, on the 21st-22nd of January, there was a CloudFlare issue and we are still using CloudFlare right now (https://blog.cloudflare.com/route-leak-inc…anuary-22-2026/) - even though I am looking into moving towards BunnyCDN soon.

    If you still have issues, could you please let me know:

    - What country you are from and what ISP
    - What theme are you using on Legacy
    - What browser are you using

    A big help would be a traceroute to Guild Wars Legacy. This can be done by using these commands:
    - Linux/Mac: traceroute guildwarslegacy.com
    - Windows: tracert guildwarslegacy.com
    This shows an entire list of all the steps you go through to reach the server.

    Feel free to let me know through a DM so you don't have to expose these details here. But that could help me figure out what goes wrong.

I hadn't noticed any issues around that time. Currently, however, the site itself loads very slowly, and individual pages within it are slower than usual as well. I thought it might be a general internet issue for me at first but haven't had issues with others sites/apps yet.

    This occurs for me using Chrome on both desktop and mobile, though on mobile it feels worse. Accessing from the US and using the default theme (the goldish one with Vizu.)

    The CDN was disabled for now for testing purposes, so the first page load you do after it was disabled (yesterday) will lead to a bit longer of load times. I'm investigating it...

    Had to swap over to google, was using cloudflare.

    Was caused by an issue with moving over to BunnyCDN. The root cause has been fixed by them now.
